Car Disapeared?

Alright, so me and my brother were playing online today and his motorcycle got destroyed, When we arrived at his garage we noticed his bike was just standing there, we could even ride on it...

 

Since we were able to get on the bike without getting a message saying "Personal Vehicle does not belong to you"

We though what the hell? And he drove it back into his garage.

At that point, His corvette was deleted from his garage with no warning being replaced by the motorcycle.

 

Is there a way to fix this? Because he spent like 400,000 customizing that car and worked hard to earn that money.

 

Also, any idea what happened?
