Why I hate GTA V

1. The aimbot is way to powerful on computers. this guy was in "last stand mode" and headshot me when my head was sticking out a little bit out of cover and her was 10 gta feet away from me, with 1 shot.

 

2. Police. These guys are near impossible to lose, the helicopter will follow you at lightning speed, if you try to kill it, the cops behind you will get out so fast and headshot you with shotguns. police cars are also way too fast, one just rammed the back of my sports car (not supercar)

 

3. Online (pure opinion). i hate it, players always blow my car up, kill me for no reason while flaming me on mic, or beeps at me to get in, i dont get in and he kills me. the players in the game are the reason most people dont like gta online.

 

4.SPOILERS SPOILERS Anti-climatic ending. i beat

 

5. Online payout. These missions will be butt hard and i get 2k wth 500rp. really...

 

6. Online mission. some of the missions are extremely difficult with crappy payout

 

7. Lag or what... Some guy shoots me twice with a ak47 and im dead (he didnt shoot my head) while i empty 43 loads of assault shotgun onto him. this isnt BF4

 

8. Tanks. These suckers are extremely unrealistic. They take about 8 shots with another tank to kill, and players also abuse them in online. Als, the tank shells are really unrealistic because it does so much damage, it destroys everything that blows up but another tank.

 

9. Guns. The weapon selection isnt bad, but i still dont like the plain cliche weapons. also in online, you need kills for camo. lol?

 

10. Features. This game has gta sa features added in it to a certain extent. no muscle definition, no getting fat, like lmao

 

11. Online Character creation. Dont even get started.

You can't hate a game for these minuscule reasons. It can degrade your opinion of it, but you hate a game for being broken, poorly paced, terribly written, uninspiring gameplay mechanics etc. Not for minor pet peeves.

I felt the same way for awhile after GTA V first released, but that's just because I'm a big fan of the series. It's much easier for me to judge every single aspect when I'm a fan of something. The lack of ledge detection was almost enough to make me question R*'s desire to make a quality game. They're so good at creating these amazing worlds, but I just didn't see that same quality in the rest of the game.

Agree with 4 and 7. The merrywater plane mission was like trying to play close quarter CoD, empty a clip and not much damage to them but 3 shots to me while I'm in full heavy armor and I'm dead....

I think both our and R*'s fail was calling this game a title of the best known GTA release ever, we expected it to be a new vamped out version of the Grove Street San Andreas but, I'm saddened to say it is horrid compared to the original SA. So much has been revoked from players and to me it seems like the story felt rushed to a finish. In 4 the last mission either your game characters fiance or cousin gets iced, that was a good climax.

Also they removed a lot of the original game titles well known car models, releasing online as free car packs? really? They should have waited and released the game as 1 whole pack, this makes me feel like they rushed this release too soon, like they are still releasing things that should be in the game. I think they made a deadline that in the end they couldn't meet and released the game half done.

To answer your poll, I think the game was ok, but not much for me in replay value unlike 4 which I replayed from start to finish around 20 times. Although I did like the acid trip Michael mission and when he goes back to his home town when Trevor went to dig up his grave, that was good scripting.

First of all, you have revealed your utter lack of video game knowledge when you said that people are "blinded by GTA's graphics". GTA's graphics are mediocre at best and compared to games like The Last of Us they could be considered pretty poor at some points. Sure, the scenery is nice but there are all kinds of pop-in issues, the framerate kinda sucks, character models could be better, etc. So I know right off the bat you don't know what you're talking about,

 

And to say that it was "one of the worst overall experiences you've suffered in gaming" sounds like something I would hear emanating from mommy's basement. If it was so bad, why the f*ck, sir, did you keep playing it?! Worse yet, you actually join a website built for fans of the series! WHY? Why why why? What sort of dark, pathetic world do you live in where you play games you hate and then spend your time whining about them in forums ​for people who actually like the game. Have you seen the results of the sh*tty little poll? Yeah, most people here like GTA, despite its flaws.

 

If you think you're special because you know how bad GTA is (but still play and write about it), and that we're all idiots for enjoying it, then I feel some pity for you.

Hate GTA V - I won't go mad at you.

 

It's your opinon if you like or hate GTA V - like whether a gay person likes men instead of women.

 

But I love GTA V - GTA Online are full of people who blow up your car and troll - but they are most likely people who got in on the first day with no issues, got ahead of anyone else and got good weapons, cars and apartments. You say the cops are OP? I like the way they are - more challenging for me and many other people but your choice again.

Why play it then? The game isn't perfect, but it's one of the best out there and great fun to play. What's the point in complaining about things that can only be counted as an opinion? I'll admit you did say at the end that this was all purely opinion, but don't you think saying you 'hate' the game is a bit much? I'm sure if you really did hate it that much you wouldn't have bothered to write all this on here.

 

All these people complaining about how bad the game is should go and sit in a dark room and live the rest of their lives in hatred at this outrage of a game that rockstar has produced.

 

Constant 'what do you hate' threads are getting old. Why not make threads about things that can improve the game for everyone? When I first got the game I though the driving mechanics were a huge step back from IV, and I still do, but i played the game and enjoyed it. Looking at threads debating where rockstar went wrong with the driving mechanics and why was a lot more fulfilling that reading a thread like this.

 

I completely respect your opinion, but one thread like this is enough, especially one where the OP declares that they hate the game.
