Missing personal vehicle?

If theres a thread on this already, i apologize for missing it.

 

anyways, driving around in a public free roam today, someone threw a sticky bomb on my Tailgater and blew it up, now i cant get it back for some reason. Its not in my garage, when i call my mechanic the vehicle is listed as (destroyed), when i call mors mutual they dont pick up, and the car is not at the actual mors mutual building.

 

i tried destroying one of my other vehicles, called mors mutual and the most recent car was listed, but still not the Tailgater. i tried turning the xbox off and back on, reloading gta online, everything. and i cant get it back. i know it was insured because its been destroyed before and ive made claims on it to get it back.

 

ive heard other people reporting this problem in game.... is there a solution, a fix, or anything to get the car back?

There has been a lot of discussion of this bug recently. Slot 1 seems to randomly drop its insurance. If you wait a few days lost cars often appear (uninsured) in your garage. There is a thread here http://gtaforums.com/topic/673686-slot-1-is-glitched/

Either, what happned was the first slot glitch where the vehicle in the first slot in your garage randomly loses it's insurance, or the permanent destroyed vehicle issue. You seem to have tried the method for when it's the permanent destroyed vehicle issue, but you could try it again. Maybe It'll work. A link is at the bottom:

Yeah happened to me, you can glitch it back. You will have to use another car from your garage, destroy it. Call mors mutual. As it's dialing spam the x button on the ps3 (don't know the xbox button). This will send a car to your garage, call mors again and collect your destroyed car from the depot.

Don't despair too much man. I lost a Monroe that was in slot 1 (got blown up by someone in a mission, while I was off doing it) and it appeared back in my garage (without insurance @ 60k) three days later. Just don't fill the slot and hope for the best. Maybe put a support ticket in too.

The Monroe has dropped its insurance again and I'm just going to use it for racing until this is fixed. Cant afford multiple 60k insurance bills.

This has happened to me a couple of times now. Folks say slot1 is glitched, but one or two of my cars lose insurance every time I login. Sometimes they regain it next day etc. I've lost an adder due to it getting blown up and finding out the insurance is gone.

 

Check your cars insurance every time you go into garage to be sure. If it's missing, don't use it or re-insure it (invite only to be safe)

 

Now if I could only stop cars randomly disappearing from garage now.

i lost my cheetah tonight and it wasnt in the 1st spot although i have lost a vehicle in the first spot before. i called for my cheetah (my tailgater was destroyed at the time) and a tailgater showed up...now i have 2 tailgaters...there goes 600k + mods

Anyone try to get the slot 1 car back through the "Destroy another car and spam a on XBOX360" twice? I lost my gauntlet in slot 1 (1st car I ever modded sentimental value), destroyed a dominator with is $437 to get back. By spamming A it only charged me $400 for the gauntlet. I then called back and got my Dominator as well. Problem was before I got the gauntlet back to place insurance on it (mechanic wouldn't bring it to me) some tanker blew it up again. I of course get the message that blah blah blah you should get insurance. I though no big deal i'll do the spam thing again. Problem is 5 times now I've done this it never works for the gauntlet.

 

Is this "fix" just a 1 time deal?

you're not the only one pal.. lost two vehicles that were in slot 1, my felon which i replaced with another felon in different slot, then lost my akuma recently, new one now in slot 10.

This stinks. I had about $300k into that gaunlet...
