Am I screwed from getting the 100% trophy?

So the only thing I have left to do for the 100% trophy is the 5th street race. However I have not received the email from Hao unlocking it. I've done some digging and it appears that I needed to do the Street Bike Theif random event, After looking that up and seeing where is was I realized I had done it already...kinda. I was driving around to the jumps one day and drove past that spot, the guy on the bike came out right in front of me and I hit him instantly. Thinking that I had already done all necessary random events for the 100% I just drove on since I had other things to do. So now when I go back to that spot the event does not trigger anymore.

 

Am I screwed? I probably wouldn't of gotten the platinum anyways since there are way too many online trophies but I would of like to get all offline ones.

From the Random Events, you have to do 14 of them. Look in your stats and see if you have 14 of them. It doesn't care which ones are completed. Wait more days for Hao's message, and the 5th race is a motorcycle race.

Another thing to try-- when I was doing my races-- the Vespucci canals race would not show as completed (for 100% purposes) when I won it after previously losing the race and hitting the "retry" button when prompted...

 

To get it to register (I had problems passing this one) I would do a quick save before starting the race-- then do the race-- if I lost I would reload rather then hit the "retry" button.

 

So my advice to you, go back to the 4th race and make sure you win it WITHOUT hitting the retry-- perhaps this is what is hanging you up...

 

Regarding the random event.... was that a Bicycle or stolen motorcycle?? I don't recall a stolen bicycle random event... I would check the 100% checklist random events map on rockstar social club and see if that random event shows up as completed or not.

There was. He gives you stock in his start up company that takes off in price shortly after. Something like 10,000 shares

I don't believe I ever did that-- and I have 100%-- I'll see if I can find on social club site...

 

//edit// I checked social club and apparently I did it-- it is listed as "Bike Thief City 1" and is the second one listed in the random events section.

 

I honestly don't recall receiving any stock??? I must have bee really drunk that night.

How long have you waited? You could try continually saving it to advance in game time a good few days. Why is a Bicycle theft random event linked to a motorbike race for a sub character?

 

Also, did you use Hoa in any of the heists and get him killed?

You can do the race missions only night. Wait for the night, it will show up on your radar.
