chrisscorsese88
Stuff like that happens to me too, I'll be cruising around (and actually be "following" the rules of the road) then all of a sudden I'll hear sirens. Next thing I know, both the suspect and cop slam into my car and boom, a wanted level. Not sure why, but the game seems to give you a wanted level when a cop feels you are a "threat", whether you wanted it or not.

Then once you're broke & hopeless, you cave in and buy a $20 Shark Card. *edit* That's really what they're trying to get at with this sh*tty game. The evidence of this theory is EVERYWHERE you look in this pathetic game. They try and suck you in with the detailed gaming world. Too bad there's f*ck all to do in it except drive, shoot, die, and pay. Edited January 26, 2014 by NeedleBanger

I can just see you at home now, curtains drawn, you peeking out looking for Rockstar employees, who are hiding in the trees waiting to jump you and take your money! Oh, and the reason this happens is because unfortunately if a cop car hits you, even if he is chasing someone else, the game gives you a wanted star. It's stupid and annoying but it certainly doesn't happen enough to me for it to be a real problem. And what does the Terminator have to do with getting people to buy DLC or in-game money? "My name is Model T3254 and I have been sent back from the year 4320 to make sure you spend all your money on in-game purchases! Now gimme yo' shoes!"
