save_the_babys Posted January 24, 2014 Share Posted January 24, 2014 Something i have noticed alot lately, about half the lobbies i join will have race wars going on, blacks vs whites over the mics having verbal racial wars which of course spills into the streets of los santos causing racial wars and gun battles, has anybody else experienced this? and do you usually side with your own race? But these people are usually kids whom swear over their mics. Funny to hear them screaming and whining about me beating their asses numerous times. From my experiences as a bouncer and in games, I can safely say I've had the most grief from dumbass white boys. And I'm white. On topic Racially fueled wars in video games are very common. In games it all comes down to egos and obsessive dominance issues. Also the fact that there is safety to get away with those problems behind a TV screen. I've heard some really, really terrible things thrown across lobbies on XBOX, I just back out when I come across it - I'm not spending money on Gold and new gaming experiences to hear that. It started as two people, one black and one white, fighting each other. So another guy and I asked if we could go watch. They both said yes, so we went. As we roll up, we sit for about 15 seconds until the black character comes over and kills us both to take my Canis Bodhi (Back when it was rare, not purchasable). Then he yells "That's what you crackers get!". Long story short, one more black player joins the guy that kills us and the other guy in my car and I join the white guy even though I'm Jewish and everyone seems to hate us. I go by how the characters look and act. My character has white and black friends Shes been killed by both. I notice when she's standing by the road she'll get pick up and given a ride by black guys more often. I've heard lots of would-be gangstas repeating the phrase 'nigga' ie; "yo this nigga just tried killin me", "yo what's up with this nigga" etc etc but you know what? All I know about these people is what their voices sound like. There are a lot of posts in this thread saying "[x] guys cause the most trouble" but in a lot of cases, how the f*ck do you know? You can only hear their voice, you don't know what colour their skin is. One black guy on my XBL friends list sounds like a nerdy white kid and for whatever reason, he apparently assumed I was a big black guy from a Jamaican family based on my voice (no, I don't get it either).
