Did they eliminate any of the Grind since Online Started?

Hello,

 

Its been quite a few months since I've played GTA V because quite frankly I couldn't be arsed with all the hellish grinds that they made. In my eyes getting 25K for some of the bigger missions was fair like Base Invaders. Then they did updates and I ended up only getting half of that then half again if I choose to play again.

 

Overall most of the good paying missions were really nerfed and therefore made the game such a grind.

 

My question is since I haven't played this game in quite sometime: Have they eliminated any of the grind for money etc since the game really started? Or are you still spending as much on resources as you do on payout.

 

E.g. by the time you buy ammo and armour you end up only getting like $1,000 profit?

The only things nerfed were Races. Various replay glitches and RP expolits have been fixed but Base Invaders still pays $25K the first time and you should not spend more than 2K (3 sticky bombs and armour). Some of the Greald missions have always been a questionable cost / benifit ratio.

Well I was getting 9K for a lot of missions and then it dropped to 2500.

 

To be honest I like that they removed the replay but I remember getting a lot of missions worth 9K plus and now I only get 7 or even less. So to be honest I don't think much has changed.

Game was overrun by R*'s playskool security

And modders going crazy handing out billions!

It was hard to avoid!

You could've went on a shopping spree!

All the clothes, All the guns, All the planes, All the boats, and 10 Adders in a second character to sell after they reset all the modded money.

I could live with grinding but since hackers have ruined it for everyone. I don't see the point. I'd rather play a game legit than play it when people have modded it.

r* reset the cash after hackocolypse and stopped all methods except iso mods,, theres still one or two very minor glitches that still need patching but in the majority its been fixed.

 

as for the grind it depends, if your not a trigger happy freeroaming that burns through 1000's of rounds every few minutes or feels the need to constantly use explosives then its not actually that bad...in most 2 hour session i come out with about 100k more than i went in with, personally i dont see how you can run out of money unless your constantly wasting it..

Missions always use to be cut in half after the first time you played them,. now theyve been increased to about 65%

It should be pointed out that it was one very small hack that was responsible. The hackers didn't "take over" or anything, and the hack has since been patched.

I'm still pretty disappointed with the payouts. $500 and 250 RP for a team based mission is the worst that I've had but is far lower than any should be.

R* is really stupid about the payouts for the missions/races. You get chump change whenever you finish them and, as usual, you're spending more than you can make. If they changed the prices of the mods in LSC then it would be a little easier IMO. I mean, 25k+ for a paint job? $40k-$50k for turbo? In SP the prices are like 1/10 that ptice. Just plain stupid. But, hey, R* wants you to spend more money on shark cards for this crappy game.

Thats why I invested in a Buzzard. $200 for unlimited ammo.
