You're a really nice guy. I don't really know why I keep coming to this forum but maybe because I like knowing other people's POV about the different games this saga has brought.

In all honesty I liked IV when it first came out, I was impressed by it but I am one of those persons that doesn't have a lot of imagination so I got bored a lot after finishing the story, I replayed it some times but then again I almost never do a third run, I enjoyed most of the aspects but when V came around the block I quickly jumped on it and had a blast ever since.

Most of my opinions about the game are biased, some of them are sorta true. But people has got to admit it's a great GTA, its like going back to GTA III except it has brought a lot more.

I can handle certain critisism but not the point where it goes to the typical ''Oh you're a five year old'' or to the point where its always the same ''rushed game, it sucks, f*ck it all, no interiors, IV was better, pshysics are sh*t'' stuff.

I do have my legit problems with the game that seem to piss me off, but it's outweighted by the positives. IV to me wasn't the best game out there but it wasn't the worst neither, it remineded me of LCS somehow. However you're right, I am more likely to get pissed so I should rather put people on my ignore list than listening to the,.

Get mad all you want to, but IV was better than V in some very important areas, interiors being one of the main ones. It's hard to accept that the predecessor still outperforms it's successor in certain ways.

That's true in a lot of games. You cannot improve everything because it is literally impossible, since it's down to opinion. Case-in-point: Driving Physics.

I don't see how Interiors improve something in a game, even if we don't have a lot of interiors we did get a pretty good rooster of them.

The only ones I actually ended up caring about were the Fast Food franchises and the hospital. Other than I felt a little bit of emptyness in some of them.

How ever what you said is true, sometimes the eirlier entry outbets the newer one in certain aspects although not every.

Lol are you for real, while i love GTA 5 that doesnt mean GTA 4 is sh*t,you should remember without that game the HD Era wouldnt have started or will there be GTA 5.While GTA 3 Revolutionised and Popularised the Genre in 2001,GTA 4 Revolutionised HD Openworld Games.Nonetheless Every GTA since the Original back in 1997 have been GREAT afterall they are all in the GTA Family.

@Blood is in diamonds.

Ouch. I don't mean to be an asshole but you need to fix your grammar a little bit.

I did like GTA IV but it had a little bit of things that certainly pissed me off at some points, however it stands as one of the greastest GTAs out there for the 360 and the PS3.

I stole a jet from Fort Zancudo today, dodged the missiles and headed out towards the sea. The sun was lowering and the lighting and reflection on the water was beautiful. I turned on Radio Mirror Park and luckily enough, The Setup - Favored Nations was playing.

Then the jet stopped, I jumped out and got ripped apart by a shark. But just a moment like that makes me love Rockstar more and more. Just like when I got Red Dead Redemption. They make beautiful open-world sandbox games with amazing stories, (I feel bad for you online-only players. Suck it up and play the campaign for once) I can't wait until their next release.

It took until 2 days ago for me to bother playing the story again, and I do appreciate it more than the first go round. I notice more of the details, the plot points, the connections, and I feel more immersed into it than the first playthrough. When I first got this, I didn't think it would grow on me as much as IV, but the more I play, the more I think it will.

GTA 6 or GTA:City Name which one should be released first, personally i think Rockstar would release some Non-GTA Franchise Game like a new Red Dead or Bully/Max Payne then a GTA:City Name Spin-off game then GTA 6 would be toward the end of next-gen.anyways Rockstar are the "gods of Openworld/Sandbox Genre" This Legendary Franchise,GTA which is their Flagship Franchise and their Greatest Assets have been running for 16 years (1997-Present) not even Saints Row or Assassins Creed (Modern Openworld Games) existed then.

I wouldn't be surprised if a new Red Dead was released soon. Since the last one has been out since 2010. And I agree. I have never seen a better company make an amazing open-world game like rockstar. (Well, Except Bethesda. But that's a whole other thing) Saints Row and Assassin's Creed have nothing on GTA.

IV never would of had saw the light of day if it wasn't for the rage engine. I think its overhyped as f*cking hell and some parts of it are f*cking rushed. My two cents sire. Oh and I assumed that because you literally go to every thread and treat V was a rushed piece of sh*t. Big news, I've Heard that from over 50 people all the f*cking way, great f*cking news.

But it is a piece of sh*t. Hence why i treat it like one.

I see many people write comments on the subject of nothing more to see in the game, or to enjoy the game we are waiting for DLC

I want to say that my intention was that as time passes the attention moves from the search for more content in the game to

enjoy the world of the game and appreciate more the things we are used to, for example:

enjoy from police pursuits - land sea and air, and constantly moving from one hiding place to another

travel around the world and search vehicles that transferring money and rob them

annoy NPC'S in the world by taking cars with Cargobob, Towtruck or HVY Dozer

and one of the things I like is to make fuel paths starting from gas stations or a group of cars to a place further away then ignite it and watch the explosion

you can add more because the world of the game offers endless possibilities

maybe do a little break from the game if you do not really enjoy it, then after you

return to play you'll enjoy more from the simple things, that at first even to me they seemed boring after a short time

Yes and both are one of the few great DLC out there that was honestly fresh content.

I can't judge V DLC yet until its out but V feels unfinished. Even IV felt like a complete game.

Yeah, I definitely appreciate it more now. It was annoying how much R* wanted us to like the "concept" of their game, but they obviously couldn't deliver on every level. The previews sounded amazing, but when the game released, it was a different story.

I like GTA V, but not for the reasons R* was talking about in those interviews before it released. I just wish they were above that marketing BS.

The game was great and I say WAS, its over now. Sorry to say I have moved on. I was desperately waiting for DLC, but I have become engrossed in other things. Today is the last day I will search google "GTA V DLC", I played it, beat it once, never got 100%, tried to play it again and got very bored. GTA IV was the same with me, I played the f%ck out of San Andreas, more hours in that game then any other game, ever. But while this game had so many great ideas, it seems like it was just that, ideas. No buyable houses, not enough car storage, online was a good idea, poorly executed. The game was rushed, seemed like it was understaffed, thrown out trying to beat the release of new consoles. I leave this buried in the most relevant post I could find. No I don't appreciate the game more as time goes by. It is almost February, no heists, no dlc's, no buyable property. The little content that was released, too little too late. Online was ridiculously fun for about 20 or so hours. I have great hopes for R* next endeavor, they have more time to execute a more well rounded game. More time to examine the failures of pre-existing titles and take what has been great from them. Red Dead and the GTA franchise have always been great games. Its unfortunate that GTA V didn't live up to the hype. I am glad I bought the game and I am glad I am walking away now. Its a terrible shame that its too late for new content for me, but I wish all of you the best of luck and do truly hope that R* has something wonderful up their sleeves for you.

To R* if you are listening, which I doubt.

Video games can be art, but for a game to be truly epic, art is not the important aspect of the game, PLAYABILITY is, for the gamers, not the vision. The vision is pretentious, and in the case of GTA V, transparent. I see what you were going for, but I don't speed hundreds of hours to experience someone else's violent and depraved vision, I spend it to experience my own. Just my thoughts on that. I remember back in the day when entertainers would cross the political line, like George Clooney's oscar speech or I don't know Ronald Reagan becoming president, its really never a good idea. You made a billion dollars on a game where you can f%ck and kill a hooker, isn't it kinda gross to put in a bunch of cerebral social commentary about the declining global society.....and then make a billion dollars on it? Just my thoughts to R*. Please next time, leave the f%cking soap box at home and let me kill some hookers in peace.

I understand what you're saying, I don't think GTAV is perfect, I do think its visual side (buildings, Houses, landscape, npc's) is very impressive, I still love the game but I hope the next game will have greater improvement in the quantity of content

GTA V RULES... GTAO RULES... all other opinions are inferior to mine... everyone else is stupid...

typical forums response. (humor off)

I haven't even finished the story b/c GTAO pulled me in, but the more I see about the story mode online on youtube (and I try to avoid viewing spoilers) of all of the stuff I haven't even discovered yet, I have to say "wow" I don't know if I'll have time to discover all of it. I kinda wish that I could have been younger, single and childless when V came out so I'd have the time to take it all in.

sometimes I wonder if perhaps something is wrong with me because I love this game so much... then I read posts on this forum and realize that I am perfectly normal... sort of...

I have not played GTA V since late November. I really need to play it again. I've been playing IV, TBoGT, Forza Horizon, and Forza Motorsport 4 ever since so I will try and stay away from driving when I play V again. That gives me the opportunity and want to just stroll around the world/take a taxi and enjoy the surroundings.

The game is exceptional. And I'm very sure that one day, I might even feel nostalgic about it. Do not flame me however, I do like the story in GTA SA and VC better but purely because in those games, you're the boss. You don't stand for the scrawny ceo pushing you like a bitch. And you won't stand for the ballas turning your homies into crackheads. No. You take that world for your own and show them you mean business!

All while listening to Hold The Line by Toto.

I don't see how Interiors improve something in a game

You don't, but many others do. In order to make the map feel more lively and easier to get immersed with, some of us need interiors.

The exterior Los Santos is super detailed in V and that is one thing, but when things go a little bit deeper, the city's atmosphere just feels better. If Los Santos had more interiors, hell I don't think I would go to the interior that often.

When I visit a city, I sightsee. I car spot and look at the architecture. But it would be foolish for me to not enter a few buildings and restaurants. In V, I want to get immersed. But I couldn't. I wanted to relax at a restaurant and take pictures or just bask in the extreme detail that Rockstar beautifully executes for all of their interiors. I want to explore lobbies, a few burger joints, hell maybe a hotel room.

This was a problem in IV but at least they had restaurants and a few apartment stairways to explore. We even got a business building's lobby and the Empire State Buildings lobby. Maybe I am just an architecture/sightseeing nut but those things deeply interest and intrigue me when I tour a city.

Los Santos is good but it would've been excellent with more interiors. Hell it would feel almost real. But no... maybe in GTA 6 wherever that will be set.

So true, I have explained this at least twice in the past. People have a hard time accepting what they don't care about or don't agree with. When will people accept that there are other types of thinking other than their own? I like Audi's, others like Mercedes. Does that make them wrong? No. Because I like Audi's, that means that Mercedes is not needed or good? Hell f*ckin' no.

The R* guys talk about their game because they're proud of it. They love what they did and what they're doing.

I still don't understand where you're coming from. What did they overhype?

The only thing I could see is Franklin's trailer, but that's more misleading, not overhyping.
