I hate when people pull that bs "use your imagination" stuff...

I played the game for the story mode. after that, its pointless to continue playing imo.

im wating for the sp dlc, but im not holding my breath...

imagination...pfft...

There's no point in playing a GTA game after completing the story? That might be the most stupid things I've read on these forums.

I agree with you bro.

How is he a fanboy when he is referring to GTA in general? He's making a very fair point, that all GTA games have plenty of things to do after the story.

Today while playing maybe a straight hour or so of on foot exploration, I saw quite a bit of new stuff and different alleys/on foot only routes. Pretty cool sh*t, and I'm glad this aspect of the map carried over from IV.

Literally right off any city road will lead to some weirdness or a cool view of LS.

This feeling probably all know, it starts when we play the game for the first time and we have all kinds of problems with things we did not expect that they disappoint us

Can't say I agree. From the moment I started I thought this game was awesome. Can't say I had any problems with the game, other than the obvious garages that don't save cars issue. Its just a great game.

Well, then I guess you can say you have one problem... :-)

There really isn't much to interest me to continue playing sp after the story. I played the story 3 times now, and I got 100% completion the first time just for the f*ck of it. But I only really like playing with franklin so after the story is over the game offers very little for him. I'm not going to play as him and "role play" because there is no motive or purpose to do so. I don't enjoy rampages so that's out of the question... And I don't like exploring the "oh so beautiful" map like other people do. I couldn't give a f*ck about blain county. I'm absolutely bored with the game....

Yes and here's why..for me like every other gta before it,the world is what its all about.

The missions whether there's 50 or 100 will eventually be over.what is left is a huge open world that is only limited by your imagination.

That's too bad, because the worlds are designed around that premise imo. I enjoy finding alleys and corners to use in my never ending war with LCPD. I'm currently trying to put a run together that spans from armor/health/weapon pickups across the map.

I respect your opinion though, just wish you saw things differently.

Nah, it's not grown on me and I don't appreciate anymore than I did after first completing the SP mode of the game. I don't play online MP because I think it's kinda rubbish, and I don't generally play online anyway.

I've hardly even touched the game since finishing the story, save a few free roam sessions in SP.

Hopefully this new SP DLC and some added features will re-ignite my interest in a big way.

This. Why buy a GRAND THEFT AUTO GAME known for killing, language, nudity, drugs, gangs, violence, police chases, etc if you're not gonna go on rampages?! #1 main thing to do after 100% completion. It's all about stats and perfection for me in ALL GTA games, V is no different. I like to test out my lengths I can go on a 5 star wanted level, test out guns, see how many NOOSE/Cops I can take down, etc. It's one of the biggest aspects with the game, imo.

Also in GTA V, if you played the story correct, that is, you should have 40+ million dollars, some, including myself have billions. You can mod all of your vehicles, find ones that are rare and that you like for each garage, safehouse garage, and impound (I use this as a two car garage, they don't disappear), Get a Lazer for the hangers plus buying a tank, barracks, crusader, etc, and get an Attack Chopper for the helipads for each character, as well. Then have fun, I mean, even just driving the best cars you own around and driving the streets is fun, see how far you can go with just holding down R2 and not hitting a damn thing, it's pretty challenging at times. I can go on as well, it's awesome. Not sure why anybody would buy these kinds of games if they were not gonna be doing this in the first place.

i replayed it 3 times before selling my 360 stuff. each time was enjoyable, but not as much as the first time. those other times i was looking for all the things i missed before, or finding a way to play better and smarter.

now the only time i play is on someone elses xbox and its still pretty fun, but online was just horrible and thats mainly the reason i upgraded to an xbox one so soon. all 360 really has is gta...

I actually love this game more and more as I play. Now that my attention is back in SP rather than GTAO, pursuing 100% competition has allowed me to go deeper with every character and take in all SA has to offer. My opinion tho

I don't care about buying and customizing every vehicle in the game because I will most likely NEVER driver them all. And I don't care how anyone else like to play their games, I play the game to experience the story. The tanks and lazers are pretty f*cking crap, honestly. I haven't really had "fun" in this game because there aren't a lot of activities that I like. My idea of fun isn't really going on rampages, because the police are swarms of invincible robocops, and it's pointless because you die anyways. I don't care about making billions of dollars with nothing to spend it on. I play the game to enjoy it and the only thing I really enjoyed the story, and the story wasn't really that good. This game is stunningly boring and surprisingly underwhelming. I was really disappointed with how short the story was. I'm not saying this because I hate the game, because I dont, I say this because I'm being blatantly honest about how I feel, and because I love the gta series. I just don't really think that it met the majority of fans expectations...R* claimed that this was their most ambitious game ever, but failed to bring back the stuff fans wanted most. They appealed to the casual gamers and the online gamer crowd instead if the real fans of the game...If this is the best they could do, I might throw the towel in on the gta series.

Lil_B_The Basedgod, I respect your opinion, I sometimes overlook things that disappoint me to enjoy other things that are really good

as I wrote in the first post, could be that in a month or two you'll be back to play the game and find new things you had not noticed them before

or do things in the game that previously bored you

i never had the chance to conceal myself in a dark room for the entire weekend and play the sh*t out of it when i bought it, i would normally do this with a game that i was anticipating for so long.. this means i've only played it in chunks when i've had the time and still look forward to my time playing it

the games pisses me of everyday I play it.

Something about this line amuses me. Is your life so horrible that you're confined to things you don't like as your only source of entertainment, or are you a masochist? Why play a game every day that you don't like? Is being happy and satisfied important to you or not? if you hate it, why bother with it?!

I don't hate it. Never said I did. I get pissed off and that makes me stop playing. The police, scumbag drivers and pedestrians. I love the game but there are still things about it that will never cease to make me f*cking explode. I only play the online with one friend and we do missions together...that's pretty much the entire game for me until something's something substantial comes along. Whenever that is...

And shake, I wouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions if I were you. My life isnt horrible, but it is very boring, and "linear"

@gta564 I never stopped playing the game, I just can't. I like playing it but there just isn't much to do that I find fun. That is truly my only REAL gripe with the game

I'm at that stage now where it's grown on me as much as it can. It's a fun game, but I can't see 5 years from now roping me in like GTA IV. Much less still impressing me.

this is why i was shocked when they said it would only be released on 360 and ps3.

No..i'm more disappointed with it!

As someone who has played this game for years, it's getting boring:(

I was expecting them too take everything to the next level..gameplay wise

And i feel they could have taken things there, but instead decided too change directions...being multiplayer.

I was hoping for a game that looked beautiful, but kept me coming back for the hours on endless enjoyment.Instead i got one and not the other..Maybe it's because this isn't my first.I try and think, what if this was my first Gta?how would i feel??probably amazing..but it's not. I still loved this game!but expected much more, and likely next time the wait wont be so tough

My biggest problem:

The cop system..Can't kill someone in private, without getting fuzz(huge buzzkill it's gta)

Due to no enemies(lack of gang),you must relie on the fuzz for a battle(probably to get you online quicker when done story)

Story was very bland and didn't intrigue

The unkown--how amazing could this game have been if the attention was paid to SP

Fix your sh*t...still glitches from release day-storing a titan and etc..you can release nine updates but not fix a thing on SP?

Car spawning system..it's been improved but it's not much better then the previous games you still see 9 muscle cars in a 2 minute span.. For me it would be like having the same 6 houses

Adding things to MP And not SP just to intrigue players over

Mainly though it's the unknown this game could have been amazingggg and thats obvious..100 little things add up to a huge disappointment

The graphic generation sucks

Gameplay>graphics i want a fun game not a good looking movie

I am not telling you how to play your game, but you're rubbing off as being close minded or a stubborn baby, no offense.

I don't drive all my vehicles, either. I have everything filled (impounds, 4 car garages, safehouse garages, hangers, helipads) but I don't take all the vehicles out all at once, everytime I turn on the game, I tell myself I will test out one vehicle at a time. Doing this you actually get an idea at which vehicles are the best in the game.

The Tank does suck, I will agree with you there, but there is still fun ways to using it without dying so quickly inside it. The Lazer does NOT suck, maybe you are just not so good with it or fly to low or near police mavericks to get shot up quickly and then it goes down. Or maybe you can't steal one and store it, LOL..Who knows.

You're not having "fun" on rampages because like you just said - You think the cops are robocops and invincible. They are "challenging" nothing more. If you can't take a challenge, then go play an easier game lol...Having "easy" cops isn't exactly fun because you can do it blindfolded or one handed so to speak. These cops in V take a lot of concentration and planning to escape. Don't have the skills? Not my problem. How it is pointless when you die? So are you THAT good that you NEVER die? LOL. Of course we all die, we only have so much armor and health. "This sucks because I can't beat the cops" - I mean, this is stuff an 8 year old would say. They cry because something might be too hard for them, lol

Billions of dollars is good to get if you cared to customize cars. Each one fully customized is around 200 K. If you customize like 40 vehicles, it will leave a small dent in that 2.1 billion. But since you're stubborn and only like to "do missions with a friend" I guess you don't need money afterall

I mean, I been playing GTA since III. I 100% III, Vice City, San Andreas, IV and V as well. V may have some bugs and problems, but it's still a great game. I can also go back and play the past games anytime as well since I still have the games, the game saves, and a backward compatible PS3.

Each GTA brought something new, interesting, and different to the game. So having the collection of GTA's makes it nice being able to experience all of the GTA functions each game has to offer.

Like other people said to you, if you complain over this game so much, simply stop playing it, and go back to IV, SA, VC, III.
