The delay may likely due to ongoing troubles dealing with cheaters and hackers. Once that issue is resolved (latest patch was just released), we may have some news. The problem is you're overhyping it if you think those heists will make the game too special. It will be the same game, just another little thing to do so don't raise the expectations too much. Unfortunately that's how gaming works in this new age, developers finish most of the game, but whatever is unfinished is delayed trough DLC and patches. To expect any significant DLCV within the first 6 months is wishfull thinking. Be patient. Maybe if people would stop trying to break the game things might get delivered quicker but without knowing R*'s plans it's impossible to know if heists have been delayed or not. Just wait, the heists won't live up to the fan created hype, there will then be thread upon thread about how R* misled them and over-hyped heists despite them being pretty quiet on the matter and then there will be a load of butthurt about how no-one can pass them because kids these days don't have any patients. It took them 5 years to make the 'game of the decade' (actually, that was RDR) and it took the hackers and glitchers 5 weeks to completely imbalance the game, forcing the developers to react and counteract the damage done to the game world - damage that, essentially, rendered any profit form heists as completely redundant. Why bother pulling a heist when you can get multiple billions off a single bounty, buy the best apartment, buy ALL the clothes and ALL the cars? f*ck the people that have caused heists to be delayed.
