b4ux1t3
~~~Please replace "Mission" with "Job". That's what I meant. I hate much of the more popular user-created content. Prison Thugz Fight!, SEAL TEAM SIX, Saving Ryan's Privates. . .they do not appeal to me. Before anyone accuses me of bad-mouthing UCC, I love it. I love seeing what people do with it. That said, there are certain ones that I don't want to play. And yet, those are the ones which I always get put into when I try to join deathmatches. So now I am wondering, besides only specifically joining games I want on the map or through Social Club, is there a way to block certain jobs, or, better yet, certain UCC that I don't like? That way I can join random deathmatches and actually find something new and enjoyable? You know, instead of being forced to play deathmatches where beating people up with a lackluster melee system or lucking into being the first person to get in a tank is the "strategy" involved. I had hoped simply "disliking" the missions would at least influence the RNG that places people in random games, but it seems that I get into them MORE often, if anything. b4ux1t3
That's a shame. At this point I'd be happy just blocking non-verified content. I think we should at least be able to leave UCC we don't like without fear of being marked a bad sport.
JC Hammer
UCC was a Bad Idea! It apparently is much more satisfying for the "creator" than the "player". Maybe R* should let you make your own content and share it among your friends. But, spare the rest of us!
paulmgrath
I have played many user created maps easily as good as the R* originals,
SomeRandomDave
I have played many user created maps easily as good as the R* originals, I bet you're one of those kids that has no shooting skill whatsoever and just runs around in tanks and with auto-aim 24/7. Exactly what I was getting at. UGC is teh lifeblood of the current generation of gaming, especially if you come from a PC gamer's perspective. (Side note: Please don't let this devolve into console vs PC. Both are games, both are fun, denying that is like denying that bacon is delicious.) In a more optimistic light, I would love to see and, frankly, expect to see UG missions, survivals, LTS, etc. in the future. What do you guys think? (All this after heists, of course :x )
Ugeine
Agreed. Prison Thugz fight (that name makes my skin crawl), jumps jumps jumps, Seal Team Six and others of that ilk are terrible, and I'm sick of having to skip them all the time when I go to quick job. However, there's some decent UCC as well, Such as Laguna Seca remake. I'm hoping in time the good ones will flood out the rubbish ones.
