I think they work "so" the same, it doesn't double the effect up (if you get me?)

 

ie, you cant take off mask - lose a star, then put on glasses and lose another.

yeah I tested that with multiple masks. I've had a bald character for the longest time simply because I use the masks a lot.

You can't re-use the same disguise over and over you have to switch it up or they will catch onto you.

I have 188 robbed stores...and it never gets old because of the increase in wanted stars....thankfully I have a strategy that never fails me to target three supermarkets close to one another. The cops and the choppers have no chance!

Steal a chopper and rob 'em dirty, every once in a while I'll hit them with a chopper to see how many I can get before I get bored, record so far is 23. Leave your car at the helipad to mark it on the map, bail out of a smoking chopper and chute down to a fresh one next to your car. Safer doing this in invite only of course, but a 4star is nothing to outrun in a chopper.

Just lay low after robbing 2 stores. If you keep robbing stores without taking a break then yeah your stars will increase to 4.

If you rob clean, (point gun, no killing), you get 2 stars. After a few stores you eventually get 3 stars, and add a few more stores, you get 4 stars. Never went beyond that, because, hey, 4 stars for only a little more than 1000 bucks is foolish. Now, in unclean robberies, it varies. You shoot the clerk, 3 stars. Let the clerk run and rob it yourself, 3 stars.

 

Moral of story, rob clean, and no more than 2 stores in a 45 minute session, and you'll be fine with only 2 stars. Also, point the gun at the clerk and back away to the door, it lessens the chance of them pulling a gun on you and shooting you in the back.

I hate it when a do-gooder NPC shoots me in the back from outside the store. I try to make sure they get an extra few bullets, for their noble attempt at street justice.

 

 

I found a good way of dealing with those, also the do gooders that are somtimes already inside the store...

 

The ones outside, when you pull up to the store, before getting out, drive near all/any peds, beep your horn and wheel spin... they'll soon get the picture and move on.

 

Any inside, just walk into them... the same as before, they will soon get the picture and walk out.

 

No-one wants to be the "innocent bystander" do they now!

Only morons rob stores without a mask and switch your masks up during a string of robberies and when you're out of sight of the cops, take the damn mask off, you'll automatically lose a star. I do this and I've robbed dozens of stores in a matter of 30 minutes and I usually only have to evade a 1 star wanted level.

Noob... it's not just masks... glasses do the exact same job and DON'T ruin your hair.

Also, keep your mouth shut when robbing the store.. Let the timer rum out naturally. Don't yell and demand the money.

 

They give you a good 30-50% more than when you make a scene.

 

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere either.
