Completely not worth it for those reasons and the low payout. I can steal an SUV that I can sell for $8K or so, not that much less than what he pays, and i don't have to drive it like a baby all the way to the docks.

 

Worst of all of course is that if I randomly steal a car because I am in a hurry to get somewhere, and it's on Simeon's goddamned list, I have to shake two stars before I can get back to what I was doing.

 

If there is ever a DLC with a mission where I can kill Simeon once and for all, I would gladly pay real world real world money for it.

I always do this, along with armored trucks, in invite only/solo sessions. The high priority vehicle can pay off well; considering the current economy in GTAO $12–$15K is a lot.

track that players movement on the map, watch the blip as it enter lsc and as it move toward the docks.

 

then when it near the docks, i simply go off radar and teleport directly infront of of Simeons door, kill the bastard, remove wanted level, deliver and get shot in the face when i respawn outside :-)

This reminds me of a incident last week. I was near the docks, and just happend to see a LV10 I believe driving the HPV my way. So I wait a bit, and then go off radar. He comes up to a red light with a bunch of cars and stops. So I naturally take my AP, and pop him. Take the car, and hightail it to Simeon's for a nice 10K profit. The dude messaged me saying he was in the middle of a mission, and calling me a prick. I reply back saying I was in a mission too. Let someone else spend $$$ to respray/repair said car, and I take it for max profit.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who tried taking a fully modded car to Simeon only to find out he won't pay more.

 

Conflict makes the game fun. When everyone was rich nobody bitched about getting attacked for taking Simeon's car since nobody cared.

Not that I have to defend myself to you, but in my opinion, The High Priority Vehicle is anyone's game. Everyone man for himself. I don't go out and intentionally blow them up since it's much better to profit off it. Most of the time when I'm in Free Roam, I leave everyone else alone unless they either have a bounty, or they come to me to start sh*t.

Well sure, but I know I didn't bother going after the hpv when I was a billionaire. I figure I wasn't the only one who ignored it and it must have been safer to deliver. I saw quite a few no one bothered to even get.

I've gotten 12k before for delivering a car and it wasn't even perfect condition. I dont bother with the green "heres the car now lets have a deathmatch" car. Only deliver the ones on your list. That way people leave you alone. If they dont -> off the radar. I literally drove past a guy camping outside the garage waiting for me because he didnt see me coming on the map. I even slowed down and stopped by him, got out of the car and shot him in the head and turned it in.
