Well usually all the good and big stuff / new content is released when a game hits 1.1 or 1.2 etc. So hopefully we'll at least get heists with the update.

So lets hope it's a big update.

Heists AND the Casino? We talking about the same Rockstar here? We'll be lucky if 1.10 even does anything for heist prep. If I'm wrong though then i guess Ill eat my words... the Rockstar i know has became a very slow to do anything development team and it's gonna stay that way for along time. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. It's nice to see a dev team take their time instead of meeting a money sucking for sh*t quality game year and a half quota.

I'm hoping we get a fix for selling cars bought on websites. I have two cars I bought before the patch(Cheetah and Vacca) that I want to sell as I don't use them, but R*'s patch before that allowed us to sell them doesn't work for vehicles purchases prior to the patch. Plus, I hope they fix the insurance glitch. I want to use my Dominator, but I'm scared of it getting destroyed because I don't know when the insurance might get lost, or whatever happens to it.

they Always hinted at heists being released some weeks after the start online

and in another update from september or something they also mention that they hope to give release date next week

it should be pretty clear that they intended to release heists in 2013 but all the problems with online set them back a lot
