GTA Online Olympics; have any event ideas?

I wouldn't mind having a triathlon or decathlon in MP. I would definitely play it.

 

Added: also these vehicle relays you speak of sound fun. I'm down for it.

 

Yea, we're doing the triathlon one this Thursday... (thread here) and the Bob relay on the weekend, have to test it some first.

 

 

How about a cashcard bitch-a-thon?

How about tank shooting. Have a car fly off a mountain and you try to blow the car up in mid air. Something like the most kills in a certain time?

How about a medal for the distance an individual can slide down a mountain in ragdoll-form? I don't mean fall/die. I mean slide. There's definitely an art to it.

Interesting... we already have a "skeet shoot" with a player on a bike (over a ramp) and peeps with shotties. When we do the testing for that, I'll give it a go with tanks. See which plays out to be more fun. Thanks for the idea, will update once we test it.

Diving

A chopper flies at least 2 ppl to the roof of a high building. A prop is placed on the street (pickup truck, trash dumpster, huge dump truck, electrical box, etc) or a circle is made with tire lines. (Personally i would rather it be a prop to "hit") Also, around the prop there should be outer-circles for scoring much like the parachute jumps.

 

Rules

-Judges on ground or standing on something for a good view.

-Each participant jumps off building without parachute and tries to hit prop.

-Closest to hitting the prop is winner.

-Each participant should get at least 2 dives.

 

Maybe have someone flying in a chopper to watch or 'record' with a good view of the complete jump. Could also be a building with a good viewpoint.

 

Also you could have synchronized diving and team diving where points are totaled.

 

Should at least be fun to watch.

Not bad, we'll have to mess around with it tho. If peeps get good and multiples hit the blades, it could be time consuming running heat after heat. I guess judges could also award 'style points' but that kinda leaves things open to peeps bitching about bias etc. We'll play with it and see where it leads

Well, round 3 was a blast and thanks to anyone who's event we used. We've been giving credit to any we've used from this thread.
