How To Check For A Bounty?

So i've been asked how to check for a bounty from my friend and i have a couple ways but incase i miss anything feel free to add a comment to help me and others out.

 

1) Check your phone to see if in your texts you have an angry message saying you have a bounty.

 

2) Join a new session and if you have a bounty it will reappear

 

3) Hold select/back button and go to passive mode, if you can't activate passive mode then you have a bounty. (idk if this one works i read it online)

When multiple people start chasing you. I had forgot I had one and saw people follow me. I usually go off the radar when getting chased, after a few mins it said I survived the bounty. I completely forgot I had it.

Hahaha yeah i guess thats the easiest way to find out if you have one. When all the white dots on the radar are after you.

i think that having a unique red dot in the map is very clear who have a bounty...

 

if is on yourself, it very clear thanks to the warning you get on screen and by text...

Yeah but the guy that asked me was going for the achievement where you survive an entire day in gta online without daying with a bounty on your head. So besides the obvious im looking to find out how you can check by yourself.

You only need 1 way. Attempt to go into passive mode. If you have a bounty, you are unable.
