ok we know body mods are easy ((well for you lot but not me)) but is there a way to change the actual wheels one certain vehicles.

 

reason being is I was hoping to figure out how to add the dune buggy wheels onto another car like the phoenix or the sultan.

 

would be so freaking funny seeing an sultan / dune buggy rims hybrid

as far as i know it cant be done due to there the stock wheels for that model

i know i shouldn't be posting this.. but yes its possible... with a little Hex and ISO modding...

If a player who does iso modding were to give a non-iso modder a duplicate of their car(like via the apartment glitch) would the normal player be able to receive an exact copy? Or would the car's special mods be removed automatically by the game?

Only good if you played off an ISO mod... see that Chrome Sandking...it spawns right next to Los Santos Customs by the Airport almost FM. Its set to in my ISO. But that can be taken by anyone and kept/stored in your garage.

I did as suggested for the MW Jeep but I still have the front bumper/winch on it. I tried no chassis upgrade, roof 2, body 252 and yet there is still a front bumper. Any ideas? Thanks.

Guessing it might be the same way you can remove the bumpers from the Buffalo. Try removing the bumper from the normal Mesa, then change it to the MW version in the save editor. Like I said, haven't tried it, but it seems possible.

On the police cruiser, can you change the colour of the black part without affecting the white?

Im fairly sure you cant remove the bullbar with winch from the front in save editor

It is not patched. you run over/blow up the guy coming out of the garage (friend who wants super car). If it worked, your friend should not be harmed for some reason and hes in what I like to call apartment mode (its where you cant run at full speed and can only jog). Then the person who got blown up, hops into the super car desired, he will be teleported nearby randomly, and boom its yours fully insured!

Or it will show you in the exit garage cutscenes in the car you just got in. Depending on the circumstances

I did man, been seeing people say it does and it doesn't... I've destroyed a few cars trying to do it. I just die every time. We tried it in passive and in normal mode. I guess I keep messin it up, not sure what the problem is.

If it bugs out, start a new session. Also, found it works best in my experience if you wait until you're in the vehicle about to drive out before switching to passive. Couple of other little tricks, but basically get to an irreducible number of variables that can screw it up.
