ok so running into problems when i do certain cars like rebel and stuff with lots of compenents... they end up with a 4 digit number value

so since i have that file with slots 10-12 active already all i ahve to worry about is adding up 1-9 and this seems to make it possible to use this chart as a whole right now.. we just need to figure out all the cars not on this list and add them

So what I just found out is that extra_ten, extra_11, extra_12 in the linked file are the equivalent to bits 25, 26, 27 respectively right-to-left.

So for example for a Carbonizzare with coffee cups, that would be 0100 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 (binary) = 67108864 (decimal).

A Bodhi with teddy bear (5th bit) and all interior stuff (cups, air fresheners, parking tickets) would be 0111 0000 0000 0000 0000 0001 0000 (binary) = 117440528 (decimal).

I'm not sure what program you use but the large decimal values should go in the same field that usually holds 3 digit or lower values like 255. (Or 1111 1111 binary, i.e. the first 8 bits are all set.)

I didn't know this until know because I've never liked the interior items in my cars.

I'm using Save Editor and Save wizard on PC for PS4 console.... so I'm kinda more limited than PC users for this stuff so thats why i want to figure it out really bad

i just figured out the 10-12 could be activated from the bodystyles as well if we know the correct binary to decimal to keep it 255 or less, when i found this thread... still little work to be done becuase I'm limited to 255 on console, not sure if its the same for PC... so activating all components without a premade file like i have will be difficult on some cars with alot of components... but atleast its something to work on that help me and my people....

all the cups and tickets and stuff are hard to find all active at once, so it makes it glitchy type/rare...

another thing i cant figure out would be the rusty rebel with ALL components active... including the areo bed cover thingy... there should be two of them.. a bent version and a clean version... we should be able to 255 with those added as well but for some reason those dont get added when we 255... need some help there too...trophy truck  bodystyle 24 will give you tire in back but everything else removed... which i had only seen merged or magic slotted before today!!!

next is to make the active interior components file with pre-set un-selected interiors or all different colors... just gonna take a few hours to save all the files correctly with the correct color interior, so at that point we should be able to use the colored MPO files to import/replace the whatever car you want to drop on the list with unselected interior and active interior components,or not in your case... but to have the options and whatever color interior  as an MPO ready to go for whatever car we want would save tons of time with having to magic slot interiors after dropping cars...

just trying to streamline this stuff to make it easy and cool and have alot of color options handy without a ton of extra steps

thank you for your help man! if you play on console add me! yo-man-its-jay

so for me I'm just using the 12 bits and its working perfect...

Bodhi with everything for me would be 1 1100 0010 0000 = 7200 decimal.... but i cannot put 7200 into save editor.... only lets me go to 255... so with the file i have i dont have to add 10-12 so now i only need

0 0000 0010 0000 binary = 32 decimal

so now i can use that in save editor since its below 255.... but i have to keep all the interior components active this way with that file....

extras are saved as as flags in the save struct, which contains a bunch of other stuff as well. best way i can explain it is with a table:

car_save_flags.png

save editor won't let you go past 255 because messing with the full values will screw up the other stuff. ideally the save editor dev should give you a table with toggles instead of isolating the first 8 bits but eh

if you wanna mess with extras 9-12 you're probably gonna have to manually edit the save with a hex editor, unless there is a simpler way. last time i used it was in 2014, so

rusty rebel has only 4 extras: rear bar, the foglamps on top of that bar, burger shot cup, and an e-cola can. the things you mentioned are customization parts applied inside LSC, those are not the same as extras.

if you're talking about the list SummerFreeze linked you to on the last page, that's all the cars with extras. anything not listed either has no extras whatsoever or is an unobtainable vehicle.

og wow this is a great spreatsheet.... thank you

yeah a guy who has a mod menu on PC was helping me mess with 255 files and we ended up with this file that has the 10-12 extra active.... have no clue how he did that in the mod menu....but he just shot me the MPO file and i used that in save editor and bada bing... sent me on this mission!

I promise i have seen the rusty rebel with BOTH rear bed parts at the same time, the bent was was showing through the non... i cannot tell you if it was a 255 rebel to begin with because that was before i knew about this stuff, but for sure it had both aero bed cover things... so i just wanted to make one with ALL ALL the parts active if possible...

see like i said I'm limited on console unlike you guys on PC...so just trying to do the best with what i have here... anyone wanna bust out a mod menu and help me out here?

my main goal is to make fully active interior and exterior files( except the cars that need different values to make them "255" IE: Banshee is 3 for bodystyle) with all different color interiors... so we can take that MPO and just drop whatever car we want on whatever color interior... this ultimately is my main goal with all this.

yes the list he posted had me wondering if that all the new DLC cars have been tested and anything newer thats been added are missing... i know this died out for console a while back but I'm keeping it alive with my crew and the new youtube channel... so i want to try and compile as much info as i can to make this work on console as best as possible..

thanks for the helps guys!

trainers can pretty much treat extras as a customization part, so for pc players it's literally a matter of flipping a switch to put them on the car :p

you must have remembered wrong. it's impossible, unless both rear bed parts are in separate mod categories or the rebel you saw was just someone on pc trying to mess with people.

yeah it has all the dlc cars. in fact i made that sheet that was linked. i updated it the other day to add the tailgater s from the tuners update (no other car from that update has extras) and will keep an eye out for cars from the upcoming dlc

That's good to know. I found it without attribution and never knew who to credit. 👍

ty sir for making that list!

and yes i could have remember wrong but i vividly remember seeing the beds glitch thru each other, weather it was someone messing with me way back then or not IDK.. but if you say it cant be done based on game mechanics then numbers dont lie....

so i need to ask someone with PC mod menu to help me wih this becuase I'm running into not being able to find a way to save the GTAVV file with the interior colors and interior components.... i cna only switch it from house spots and not to a garage when i can get the file from...

so the only other option would be gran the GTAVV files with inteior colors from someone on PC.... anyone willing to help me with this?

so if you make a quick save on your phone while sitting in the car from the strip club with whatever interior.. you can then export and open in save editor and  "extract all vehicles" and on that list you can see your "current car" will be the car your sitting in with the color interior...   it will be saved as a VVP file.... have no clue how to export from there or open that or view it.... we can only extract the current vehicle but it still saves as a vvp file... how to we convert VVP to GTAVV?

Does the Baller ST have any "extras" like the rest of the Baller family? Hope remembered to disable them this time.

hey Guys i'm new on this website and i have a question about the armored Kuruma:

so my friend showed me a pic of his armored kuruma and this vehicle has some kind of "livery" but i dont think its a livery. It has a military camouflage on its spoiler and on its front and side bumpers.

He said his friend modded it with save editor but idk how he did it. Can someone help me with it?

The armored Kuruma has liveries, but they are not officially released yet. They only apply to the spoiler and bumpers anyway, and only if these parts are not stock. The only way to apply the liveries is through a merge glitch or save editor. I don't use save editor so I can't help you with that either.

probably just the hidden livery. have to look at the list and see if it has more than 1
