RP and Payout Reduction

this is probably version 3.06 for this question but can anyone confirm reductions for certain or all jobs? specifically RP?

I started grinding out CCIII a couple nights ago and on free aim lobby, hard setting, u can net $7000 and 3125RP

 

starting last night, payout seems to be the same $7000 but now im only getting around 2300RP.

first, let me say i am in no way complaining about this. i choose to "grind" missions to rank up and im ok with it but i am wondering if i am missing something.

also attempted "coveted" last night and the payout and RP seem to be unchanged for this one. $12000 and 2100RP. so that makes me think its not all jobs that have been affected.

Base invaders pays 18750 which is much better than the 12.5k we used to get, still not as good as the 25k in the beginning but its a step in the right direction.

racing payouts are starting to look more like they did in the second week of GTAO. I got 20k for one last night. 16 for another.

I just did coveted 10 times solo and got the usual 12gs an 2200rp

I just did it with 3 others and only the player who delivered the container got the full amount.

Me and the two others got a ridiculous 125rp and ficking 100 dollars

lol... well I do get picked on but every one of my levels are legitimate and every cent I earned I did so legitimately. I've never been gifted cash and I've never once duplicated a car even though I knew very well how. However, that said, yeah those kills weren't me griefing people. I've never sat there killing a person over and over again unless they came looking for trouble. I can count on one hand how many people I've just randomly killed for no reason.

Honestly dude it happened pretty quick... took me like two weeks to get to 100. I just enjoy racing a lot so time flies when you're having fun. I find things take a long time if you try to grind your way to them. Besides, my favorite gun is the advanced rifle but I gotta admit the heavy sniper is an awesome weapon. I make use of it quite often to deal with fleeing vehicles, choppers and tanks. You can also one shot vehicles to make them explode with it which is really badass.

yup, thats all i really want, that heavy sniper. i will most likely stop the grind once i get that... sure the mini gun at 120 will be great but i just want that sniper.

do you use the silencer on the heavy sniper?

edit: I put the silencer on the regular sniper though for those stealth kills.

Also... I hadn't really thought of it but I guess the reason I probably have so many kills are probably likely because I hunt bounties all the time.

You just answered your question. One shot from the heavy can explode cars. Very helpful on Coveted.

Its funny but I find myself grinding to get the heavy sniper as well. I've been sniping tanks recently and the regular riffle takes two to three shots. The heavy takes one!

Raw power. That thing drops people on Hard, shreds vehicles apart, and has the longest range of every gun in the game.

I think CCIII has lowered too... I host that on Hard and I get a max of about 2000 RP...

I bought a few Cash Cards at the start when playing online, just to buy an apartment and 8 cars... As the first car was for free and the RH8 is free.

I always thought if you are on the same team and your team wins, you all get the same rewards...

 

I grind Covert regularly and had a few randoms join my hosted game and I remember getting at least 2000+ RP and $12,000...

Just Rockstars way of telling you that you should do that mission by yourself. Seriously, trying to farm when you have others in the group just adds time and stress to it. Most of them run around like morons and get killed, troll you by trying to steal and/or destroy the Cargobob, or at best, they try and help you snipe, but suck so bad that all they do is alert the targets, who then all take cover and make the job last that much longer. Best to do it by yourself, or with people you know/trust.

In addition to what everyone else said, it's almost always a one shot-one kill sniper, even without a headshot. The regular sniper should be silenced and used for stealthy headshot kills imo, because it often needs a headshot to kill an enemy player in one shot anyway.

 

With the heavy snipe, you can shoot people in the legs or arms when they are behind cover and still kill them in one shot. The only exception is people who are over level 100 with full health, and using the heaviest body armor at the same time.
