Bored in GTA Online, what to do?

I will NEVER get bored of offroading. Ever.

 

I'm always up for a good cruise with friendly players

 

I once met 2 randoms, and we spent at least an hour cruising the mountains on our bikes.

 

There are good people out there, the hard part is finding them.

 

I enjoy a frothy bloodbath just as much as the next person, but sometimes it's fun just teaming up, and tearing up the hills.

Kidnap someone or something and take turns playing. And if you want to annoy some people, I suggest telling your future kid to scream so much in the mic that you might get a free kill or too. That is, if you aren't a fagget and might have kids in the near future.

 

 

Get off your lazy ass and do something productive with your life.

Man, so much people complaining that its boring...

I don't have online on my ps3. I've done everything in single player. The most boring thing was the nuclear waste parts. I wish I could play online I'll switch places with you guys anytime!

Capture the briefcase missions in the city. Most fun I've had in Los Santos.

 

Had one last night where our team had the objective but got encircled near the FIB building. It was a long shoot out, and cops were everywhere. So it was basically the cops versus us versus the other team. I was pinned down and just spraying my Assault SMG and getting kills on cops and players without even aiming. Finally someone got the bright idea to throw a few sticky bombs onto the cop cars and SUVs, which blew up a huge hole where we could escape through.

Damn dude, that sounds like a blast!

I think a lot of people (including Rockstar devs) don't realize the kind of game GTA is. It's a sandbox. This means you get your toys and go play in the playground. You go up the slide if you want to, stand on the swings, flip off the monkey-bars, etc.

 

If you actually bought this game yourself, this is a place you visit, a vacation spot or adventure-getaway.

 

Rockstar have left sandbox mindset and gave us all these ways to exit the sandbox and 'keep us busy.' If there's no entertaining spectacles thrust in our faces now, we get bored or confused.

 

Rockstar needs to get back to sandbox. FFS, they almost single-handedly defined the genre with this very series!

I generally do some races when I get bored of FR and missions. Sometimes I'll do survival and rarely will I do a Deathmatch. Races usually tend to cure my boredom pretty quickly.

Use your imagination. Or use youtube if your head is full of nothing.

 

Use the potential of freeroam and find some friends

 

I've had some funny moments doing sh*t like getting a friend and trying to walk across a major highway nonstop without looking at the cars coming. See who gets hit first and does a double backflip

 

Or turning off the radar/hud/whatever and having a manhunt...in the hedgemaze at the university lol

 

Or Getting cop cars and playing vigilante...with nightsticks only

 

riding around with a bmx going off every jump, finding the skateparks.

Plus all the organized sh*t R* puts in the game

When I get bored of missions etc i just treat the lobby as one big death match and usually have crews going after me which is fun. Using a chopper to stalk and snipe / rpg from rooftops never gets old. Master the lazer jet. I found out a long time ago in IV free mode that the only way to keep sh*t interesting is to merc other players. Also only play in free aim lobbies.

Go take some photos with the phone. you can take some really good ones if you look hard enough.

 

Get a mini cooper, shoot someone in a fast car.... test your driving skills lol

 

Fly a stunt plane around everyone.. upside down and sh*t.

 

Complete all the stunt jumps.

 

See how much you car wreck a car without it being rendered unusable.

 

Imagination... there's loads to do.

done all of this .. so now what ?

 

Christ you're hard to satisfy; if you've found enough output to impress you subjectively, then there's no point playing and constantly saying 'been there, done that, now what', when you can't exercise a bit of imagination for replay-ability to satisfy yourself more.

 

Set up a car meet? Make a playlist? Play with GTAF members? Raid the military base with friends? Bounty Hunting (FUN!)?

Grab a tank and learn how get it to launch into space. So much fun, especially if you are getting attacked by some greefer at the same time you manage to launch. Confuses a lot of noobs.
