I'm sure it's not exclusive to motorcycle club themed crews, but since my crew is in fact based on that model, most of the hate mail I receive is centred around said theme. A lot of kids out there seem to think they're Clay Morrow as long as they're signed into GTAO, wearing their FATHERS OF BADASSERY LOL MC SAN ANDREAS emblems on their backs. Last night, I came out of my garage on a motorcycle and was immediately fired upon by someone I had never met before, in a game I'd been a part of for maybe 5 minutes. He'd been waiting outside my garage door in order to kill me the moment I left. Naturally, right after I respawned I killed him, blew up his bike (I tend to assume they take that as a huge insult, given how super seriously they take this stuff) and rode away, uninterested in engaging further. The bike was a purple Bati 801 with whitewall tires, as I recall. Anyhow, a little while later I realise I have a message from him (I must have been looking at my phone or something when the notification popped up). So I listen to his voice message and what I hear is (not a perfect transcript but it's close and please excuse the foul language, his words not mine) - "Faaaaaaaaaaaaaggot! fa**ot, I'm gonna take your patch. I got the [insert motorcycle club name here] at my back. Faaaaaggot, yeah run away fa**ot" What the actual f*ck is wrong with people? IT'S A GAME, GET A GRIP. There is no "rip off slain enemy's emblem" function, get your sh*t together kids. Presumably he was planning to do what all the motorcycle gangs in TLaD multiplayer used to do, namely sending out a message to all players in the game saying "[x] player waz stripd of there patch by sons of kewl mc at 13:27 o clock he waz last seen bein pist on his corps" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mostly crew battles like "This guy of this crew has been assassinated by this guy after doing this and that, hopefully his crew gets the message!" and shortly after "I did not get fall down like that message said, it's this guy of this crew who fell down!" Who cares? Right? Personally and relating to the topic, I encourage actual contact beyond in-game between players. It adds liveliness to the gameplay. Party chat is awesome until it kicks everyone out then instantly re-joins them in the middle of conversation, several times a night.
