GTA online will not have the casino.

knowing rockstar they will bring it a singe player DLC maybe ported into online if you buy the DLC. most likely only the guns and a few vehicles will be imported to the online.

I wish though they had some weapons and vehicle pack we can buy that is like the beach bum pack but better. we need some micro DLC there is not the best selection of vehicles. at the moment they have not announced a single payed DLC yet, come on R* you know what you need to do just announce something already.

The free heist dlc still has to come. Why announce paid stuff before they've even completed releasing heists or mission creator. Honestly mission creator will be better than hiests. But I still wanna slay some noobs at Texas hold 'em.

I'm actually wondering how paid DLC will work. Will there be seperate lobbies for people that bought the DLC? If so that's going to ruin the online the same way GTA 4 online was kinda ruined with their two DLC packs. If you try to go on the lost and damned online portion it's an empty world with no one playing. Gay Tony on the other hand is alive and so is the basic GTA 4 game. It just sucks the 3 were split.

In the early years of Second Life, the casinos were one of the biggest activities, pervasive and popular.

 

But because Second Life uses real world money (just like GTA0) and so were governed by hundreds of laws in various countries regarding finance and gambling, one day the hammer came down and all casino and gambling systems were inactivated. End of an era. A lot of people all over the world who had literally built gambling businesses in Second Life, were suddenly nulled out.

 

I think this is why there will never be actual gambling (casino, poker, horse betting or any games of chance) in GTA0. I was surprised that race betting is in the game, but because it (theoretically) involves the skill of the racers rather than simple pure chance, I guess the TTWO lawyers thoguht they could get away with it.

There will probably be mandatory compatibility updates that people will have to download if they don't buy the DLC. This will allow them to SEE the content but not be able to USE it.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 has a casino with poker, slots and roulette. They they can have it - GTAO can have it.

 

People won't be betting REAL money. They will be betting GTA$.

You bet Rockstar are looking at adding casinos. People will be emptying their hard earned dollars in slot machines, poker and blackjack, losing it all and hitting the missions and races hard to earn enough to gamble away again. Sure, a few card sharks will do well, you'll hear stories of players hitting a big jackpot, enough to live GTA Online life of luxury, but most of us saps will throwing our dollars away for that cheap thrill you get with a win.

 

Or, you know, it be released and the glitchers and hackers will exploit it in days.
