How many people here have actually led a life of crime?

I have never done anything wrong or illegal ever

I saw what you wrote. Seriously, I hate criminals that vandalize almost the most. Burning cars, tagging, destroying property... that isn't even remotely fun nor funny. How retarded...

On topic: I used to download music illegally, who doesn't, and I ate jelly beans from H.E.B. when I was young because I did not realize you had to pay for them... they just poured out and I was like "free candy!" I know, these are barely anything to be ashamed of but I don't really do illegal stuff.

Any true criminal would be a fool to post their 'criminal' ways or life on a public forum. I never seen much intelligence in people making topics about such things.

I agree with this too. I never seen much intelligence in it either. Most criminals wouldn't post it on a forum.

I AM SORRY ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO, BUT MY WEBCAM IS ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH.

I borrowed a book from a very nice person years ago but never returned it. I still have it today and it keeps eating at my conscience. This book does not belong to me, it should be with its owner, I feel so terrible.

I once stole a book from my old man, and could never bring myself to return it nor admit I had taken it...though it wasn't so much a book as a porn mag.

That's understandable, I can just imagine how awkward it would be handing it back to him. "The pages kinda stick....... sorry."

So a group makes you change your name.. laughable.

I don't think he was taking a shot at you, GW. I think he was just going for irony since his previous name was grammatically impaired.

Ah, yes. I see now.. thanks for the heads up.

Since we're all criminals here.. I've stole a tootsie roll once from a convenience store when I was like 8yrs old. I've been on the run since.

Are you totally stupid?

May I ask why you think I'm totally stupid for stating that?

If I commit murder, should I come here and post about it? If I knock off a bank, should I post? There's no sense in confessing to crimes you've done.. we've all broken the law at some point in our lives but then there's criminal acts such as theft and other things that shouldn't be posted of.. it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. It's the internet, dude.. 5-0 patrolling.

Well that's obvious , but not for the reasons you think - most criminals don't have access to the internet ... Because they are in prison.

By say for example one of us had committed a crime that is likely to be under investigation that we had do far evaded. Say one of us said we had murdered several people in various cities. If the police read that, track your IP address, the works ... what happens next? Nothing, for all the obvious reasons. And that's a crime someone would have noticed and that has a file somewhere.

I actually considered writing 'niko bellic half brother' in bold lettering, but I didn't think any further adding to the obviousness was required.

As for the above posts: I think Vlynor put it best a bit earlier in this thread. Letting people know of any illegal misdemeanours you may have committed in the past of which no longer requires prosecution can be harmless enough, but telling the internet of any current or ongoing acts of law infringement is...yes...a pretty f*cking stupid move.

Everything I've done was almost a decade ago. So what if I admit to selling drugs it won't lead to anything. Words on an Internet forum will not get you convicted. Sure it could lead to an investigation if the right person read it but I doubt any local cop from my area or fed from my area is gonna see what I wrote and open an investigation. Even if they did there still isn't any evidence.

If you knew anything about how the justice system works you would know that they need specifics in order to get a conviction. Me saying I made six figures or have seen tractor trailer trucks full of weed isn't enough evidence to bring an indictment let alone a conviction. Even if my words here lead to an investigation any lawyer worth a damn would get it thrown out anyways. Where is the proof beyond a shadow of a doubt that I wrote that? Is it not possible that somebody else used my tablet? Is it possible that my wifi was unsecure and a neighbor accessed it?

Just because you are scared that you will get in trouble if you admit to stealing a quarter from a kid in grade school doesn't mean I'm afraid to admit to things I have done that are already public record because what I admitted to I have been prosecuted for.

If I was still in the game I wouldn't be posting anything but since I'm almost a decade removed from what I wrote its not gonna get me into trouble.

Trust me, I know the law. Whether or not a conviction will happen, it's not smart to air your dirty laundry on the internet. I've done things that would be considered epic in what I've read so far.. doesn't mean I'm going to post about them, not in fear of the law or being convicted but that I don't need to air what I've done to gain some recognition or earn a few 'oh snap, this dude is bad' remarks. Some things you take to the grave.. even if it's considered petty crimes such as 'stealing a quarter' from a kid.

lol @ still in the game.

Stole a pack of gummy worms and a hersheys chocolate bar from PathMark one time. So yeah, I did lead a life of crime.

I once accidentally shoplifted a usb cord from a thrift store.

I went back to put it back when I saw it though. Cause I'm a square like that.

I may be looking for a duo to help me get back in the game after all these years or retirement though. Hitting some big thrift stores accidentally. Goal is Goodwill for a total of $5 of incomplete puzzles.

I agree with you in a way. If someone has served a prison sentence, I don't see the harm of opening up. I don't see the problem in it. Law enforcement usually leave the person alone if they have done a crime and served the punishment. But a recent crime or continuing to commit crime and posting about it, that's a little stupid.

Interesting.

Who would even admit if they've committed a major crime on a forum?

Yeah ive been wild and done some minor stuff like selling what I smoke every day to get by cause smoking is not cheap if you smoke as much as me. Some incidents w police but not lately as im more stable now as im bit older. When I was younger I used to be really wild and use to do some stupid sh*t. So yes l always been doing some criminal activity since i was teen and it doesnt help that all my friends are like that also the reason i dont see my friends much these days cause im tired of that life i want to be just be relaxed and chill. And my former friends use all kinds of sh*t combined which i dont like at all :/ like speed and tex :barf:

I once blackmailed $600 out of a guy who I discovered was cheating on his girlfriend. I then thought that I could double that figure by playing a game of poker. Needless to say I lost it all.

But no, I haven't gone around dealing drugs, I haven't killed anyone and I haven't robbed or stolen anything significant from people.
