Well heres mine:

 

1997 brown Camry 5 speed

1999 red Camry automatic

 

The brown one is blown up and the red runs like a top, However the red one is smashed on the drivers side back door. It shuts perfectly and still seals, but it will be giving it's engine, suspension, and AC components to the brown one. The red was owned by an old lady and just turned 100K, the brown one twice that. It was so much better than the brown one, plus the brown one was a rare super base model, roll up windows, ect. Bleh.

 

 

The fun cars:

 

My RHD converted Prelude with the F20B swap. Had this since stock, all legit, no cheap mods, Volk CE28's a few years in the making. Stole the color from Ford:

 

 

 

Miata 1.8 NA. I wanted a car in 2 categories. Either the top comes off and/or RWD. SO that basically meant del Sol (targa) S2000 (vert+RWD) Miata (vert+RWD) or S14 (RWD). I chose the Miata. I would give up my Prelude to own an S2000. As I wont own 2 cars that I garage queen. And doing so, means giving up a Prleude I built from ground up to MY perfection, for an S2000 that likely starts all over from the beginning. After the money in this Prelude, not willing to ever do it again. The del Sol was taken off, because it's another FWD Honda. I've every other one, the experience wouldnt be new enough. The S14...to have any fun at all it would need a swap, and to trust the car, I would be the one needing to do the swap. My swap would be no less than RB25. That would put me deep $$$ into the car right off bat. The Miata was the only choice; no need to garage queen it, it's fun with the stock motor. I will be going the cheap route; Racelands, Rotas, and and Maaco.

i'm assuming you're in america and the american s14 has the same engine as the aussie version.

Yeah, a lot of us grew up with GTA from the very beginnings and wish that the R* would bring this game back full circle to its roots.

You think those are good, they've just launced a full blown Polestar edition. 350bhp and 4 wheel drive. £50k though so I'll never see one, 125 in the UK only.

 

I've still got the Cee, although the damn things close to getting burned out and dumped lately...

 

Is there a T5 in that by chance? Only a few hundred T5s made it to the States, so it's not a common sight, even in pictures. Not sure if they're scarce there too, or if America's just missing out.

Nearly, it's a D5. Basically starts life as A T5 block but runs on diesel, 2.4 5 cylinder. About 180bhp stock.

 

Quick enough for road use without some of the big fuel, tax and insurance bills that T5s command.

 

The 5 cylinders were fairly rare over here as well as the fuel prices went mad just after they launched. Mines one of 58 of its spec in the UK.

ok so you guys still use the 240sx code, now are they all the hatch version (180sx mostly powered by the ca18det here but all imports) and can you still buy them new from dealers?

 

and as far as i know they are built on the s13 chassis.

 

and just to make sure all the aussie 200sx have sr20det, i dont think we sold the non-turbo through dealers here.

 

they have a following here and any of those people would know more about them then me.

 

You mentioned if you got one putting an rb26dett in one. A friend of mine had an s13 with a rb25det and boy did it move and shake but he drove it with semi slicks (illegal) every where to keep it on the road (not in a tree) but it rained one day and he smashed it into a divider fence. it didnt need it he's had a ca18det originally and it was enough he shoulda just spent the money on the motor he had in my opinion. but man was it quick. the rb is so much heavier then the sr or ca engines and it also f*cked up the cars balance which is up there with rx7's.

well the closest looking thing to my car would be the ruiner but it doesnt look like a series 2 maybe a little like a series 4/5 but the engine note is just not there (and its a muscle (camaro?) not jap.).

I realy like the colour, then again, I like bright colours, I'm not to impressed with black or white cars!

 

Have had this car for 3 days now, but thinking if I should chip-tune the car.. from 330hp to maybe 500hp.. It's never enough lol!

I own the next model down from this range - I have a '96 Almera 2.0 GX D (less than 40 left on the road in the UK). Still see a few Primeras on the roads around here but they're not that common anymore!
