Mmm, sexy. Ever thought about a Buddy Club exhaust? It's f*cking loud. But I'm a boring person, so I'd probably just swap the wheels for stock hubcaps, then probably change my mind in the future. I love things stock <3 or I'd build myself a VTi. Edited May 30, 2014 by ModderX

Coilovers $800

Camber arms $280

Replica BBS RS's $750

Ebay spoiler $350, painted

Paint on side skirt $70

Exhaust $700-$1200 Header to muffler, ~$200 just for a muffler

 

If you could afford, you should swap a B16 from another civic with the harness and P28 ecu from a salvage yard. Couple that with an S300 and you'll be hanging around at ~180whp.

$2000. vs your D15 that could only gain through boosting. You know, scrap that. Boost it instead. Get dat blow off valve

This is my `97 GTI VR6 Drivers Edition. I had it for 11 years and it treated me far better than I it. Increasing mechanical issues forced a trade but its overall reliability and how, even with its issues, fun it was to drive infected me with the GTI bug for life.

 

This is my `11 GTI 2.0T that I traded the old one for yesterday. One of the very few brand loyalties I have.

Since Saab went belly up, their value took a dive. At least here in the US, you can pick them up dirt cheap. I bought mine last year for about 1/2 of what a 3 series of equal age/condition would have cost. They are pretty quick with the turbo 4 cyl, and I still get 25+ mpg! lots of torque steer though...

Most of the time I had it I was seriously underemployed and couldn't afford to maintain it as well as it deserved. The 2.8L V6 in it was just stupid fast and ate front tires like candy. I have a good job now and can pay for the new one, K&N intake is already on the way.

Good that you have a stable job now and your new one is pretty nice too, but since I love them oldies, I would of kept the MK3 foreverrrrr.
