lardlad Posted January 21, 2014 Share Posted January 21, 2014 This is really pissing me off. I spent hours collecting space ship parts to get the space docker. I had it for a few days and I was terrified of losing it so I never used it. I brought it to a los santos customs to see if i could change anything on it so if i did lose it it would appear in the impound lot. There was one modification that i had no idea what it was but I bought it. Then I saved it at Franklin's house. The next day I took the space thing out to hang out with Michael and I was feeling confident that I could safely lose the space docker an still recover it. I took Michael to the bar and watched that movie at the theater. Then I brought Michael home and saved the space docker at Franklin's house. I started to play online and i shut my console off after an hour or so. The next day the space docker wasn't in Franklin's house garage or at the grove street garage. Or at the impound lot. Bertanius Posted January 21, 2014 Share Posted January 21, 2014 It's just one of the mass amounts of bugs in the game, house garages don't work, vehicles in them will randomly disappear, and Rockstar refuse to fix this issue, since they only care about online. There's not much you can do, once the game removes it, it's gone, the only way to get it back would be to use a save editor, it's pretty easy. Spuds725 Posted January 21, 2014 Share Posted January 21, 2014 It is probably gone.... I've said it hundreds of times--- you are given 15 save slots--- USE THEM.... it is like a time machine. I've been utilizing 3 or 4 slots for my most recent progress (every time I save I save over the 4th slot which moves it to the top)-- as well as when I was playing through the game I created a new slot every 5 or 10% progress. Do NOT rely on your autosave-- it can and will save over something when you may not want it to--- use the quick save feature. It still may show up at the impound lot.... be patient--- I had a bug for 5 or 6 weeks where I was not getting any property missions or random events showing up... they suddenly started working and 2 of my cars I didn't even remember having were at the impound. There's not much you can do, once the game removes it, it's gone, the only way to get it back would be to use a save editor, it's pretty easy. This. With a save editor you can spawn ANY vehicle you want at ANY time and save them as ANY character. You can even save cars and helicopters inside a hanger. You can store cars and planes on top of a helipad. You can even store helicopters, and larger vehicles in the four car garage... Save Editors are the way to go with GTA V, due to the cars disappearing and/or stuff you'd like such as the Stinger GT in Single Player, Annihilator in SP, able to store a Titan on the helipad as Trevor, etc. Mods usually hate Save Editors being discussed in the forum, though, so if you need help and want to get an editor, let me know. On the editor you can also get 49/50 spaceship parts collected, then just find the last one and get the Docker that way. But since you did this already and lost it, the ONLY way to get it back essentially is through a save editor. You can get the Docker as any of the three characters, as well. What I don't understand is why it was necessary to drive Franklin all the way from LS to Senora (a place he hates) to chat to Omega to start the quest? I collected the parts as Trevor (I always free-roam as Trevor) and then, 50 space parts later, I had to then drive Franklin all the way from LS again, to meet Omega again and complete the quest. If you lost it, it's all on you, lol As I said before, though, you can get it back with a save editor. Like you, I can also live without it, I haven't had it since October and don't need it ever. The only way I'd spawn it and get it back with a save editor is if it's actually needed for some Jetpack/Easter Egg type of thing. I'll wait for someone else to find the "jetpack" or whatever it is that you guys are searching for. So with that being said, I got rid of the Space Docker a long time ago due to storage space being so low in this game for much better vehicles. I save it in trevor's garage, Franklins, Michaels. It disappears and I always find it in Michael's impound. Hope that helps, always works for me and still don't know why it does that either.
