I still can't believe how R* verified them. Of course they are not going to play EVERY deathmatch/race ever published, but there are so many better, with much more effort put in them. These verified deathmatches/races seems like they were created in 10 minutes...

I wonder how it looks like in about two years, there will probably be over 100 races, and all of them are s***, while the funny ones are not going to be played. Way to ruin a game: Just remove all the deathmatches inside buildings, don't verify good races, keep removing unique cars, and verify terrible content & don't care about tankgriefers, cheaters, and all this f***.

i played one set up like another boring melee DM, but with tons of health packs in squares.

except it turned out the creator had put a couple of knives and grenade launcher way off map somewhere, and 10 mins in turned up killing me and the other chump trying to support created content at a whim...

and then just when i didn't think i could be more bored, he turns up in a tank.

I'm getting really fed up with melee ones now. I don't mind Prison Thugz occasionally as it's something different - or it was. but it's not worthy of so many clones, and clones which are so broken.

Jumps, jumps, jumps?....

Or Jump and Die.

Of course R* would verify some 10-year olds' custom slop.

I cannot find a f*cking race besides jumps jumps jumps, that sh*t is horrible

Worst one I've played has go to be one of those races where it goes around the entire map, because f*ck me it's far too long. Another bad one was a deathmatch on the rooftops on houses in Vinewood Hills; I can't remember it, but it was frustrating. Our time got owned because it was kinda obvious the creator made one side have the advantage, or his friends played the map over and over.

Tri-state Deathmatch. It was the first created deathmatch I ever played, and host had hid a tank on the map.

I f*cking hate that; basement dweller's advantage syndrome.

Yes, I think that's a fitting name for it...

I for myself LOVE long races. I would do a 3 hour race if someone provides it!

Well, I'm old and have a long attention span though ;)

I was racing in RL for quite a while, and I can't remember me finishing a race in two minutes - except if I crashed in the first corner :D

I like long races too, just not ones where only the creator knows the route as to give them the advantage. It's also the checkpoints in a point-to-point covering the whole map are very far apart.

I used to autocross and most of the laps would be around a minute and a half but the tracks were basically parking lots with cones set up. Loved every minute of it. Probably why I like tight technical tracks.

Worst i've played was a race down one of the mountains not following any path. I kicked the creators ass though just because I was lucky enough to not hit a tree or rock but I still wasn't impressed. tbh though I think that's like the only CC I've played. Not a good first impression.

To me, any bad deathmatch has this as the description:

LOTS OF MONEY AND LOTS OF RP AND XP BOOKMARK AND LIKE JOIN MY CREW.

And no, I'm not kidding. I got sent an invite with literally 3 paragraphs of the guy begging for people to play it.

What is the best user created content you have ever played? Of the verified ones, i would say the Laguna Seca remake.

The most annoying, enfuriating and absolute sh*ttiest race I have played In was one where the creator had set up barricades and barriers around the start checkpoint.

We were on a highway, the one when you go under the Fort Z. tunnel. He had set up barricades in front, behind us and around all 4 of us blocking driving forward or backward. The finish line was behind the barricades. All four of us ended up quitting.

Deathmatch at a random location with no weapons, forced to melee only.

Needless to say, there was a tank hidden somewhere, and the guy who made the DM quickly ran to it and started griefing everyone yelling into his mic... That's not the scary part though.

The person who made the map was the one in the tank. He was also about... 12 years old.

He was screaming into his mic, emotions were mixed with anger and sadness like he was insanely angry and crying screaming as if he was being physically tortured while playing. He kept yelling ''DIE!!!! DIE!!!! I'LL KILL ALL YOUR FAMILIES NYAAAAHHHH!!!! f*ckING DIEEEEEEEE!!!!''

Like.... After he yelled this with all of his voice you could hear him weeping and then he caught his breath back and kept screaming again.

It was seriously disturbing.

You call that disturbing ?

I've worst. That was a young boy, or girl (around 11 I'm not sure), yelling "oh dad, no, I don't want to s*ck your c*ck now, leave me alone"... and he or she did also weird noises to illustrate the words...

O_O WTF

When I first started playing online, I was surprised at how many females were playing the game. Then I realized it was 12 year old boys whose voice had yet to break & my boner subsided.

You got a boner from thinking girls were playing online?? You sick weirdo, gtfo and seek help.

It was probably meant to be set to GTA and done as a foot race...exit vehicle and hop the wall.

"Stunt Jumps" (camera angle) are terrible, except if you're on a bicycle. The camera angles are mostly from the wrong perspective so you end up against a wall. It disturbs the flow of a race. And in bad created content they put a camera on every jump they make.

Probably. It was set to normal race, so we couldn't. Even if there was a way to beat the race-probably if we tried hard enough- the end checkpoint was still quite a long way away.

Worst I have ever played is called "Stairway to Heaven". Just the dumbest, most halfassed lame attempt at a race creation I have ever had the misfortune of trying. It is literally the only race I have ever quit instead of doing whatever it took to finish. Avoid at any and all costs.

Tried one over the weekend that started at the Mackenzie factory/warehouse/whatever it is... AWFUL. It tells you to race in Supercars and then has you running up and down hills that are impossible to actually climb in a super car. It was only by leaving and coming back that we were able to go anywhere, and even then, the creator has you jumping impossible amounts of water (supers can't accelerate decently in a small space covered by grass). My fellow crew member and I finished it out of spite simply to vote DISLIKE on it.

There was another that took you out into the river and under the highways - and made you do a jump through what looked like above-ground swimming pools underneath an overpass, with no room to either side for error. Our dune buggies couldn't do it, but the poor guy who'd been driving around in a Sandking XL figured out how to do it and then left us behind. He'd been lagging behind for the rest of the race... Another we voted down. O_o

One of the worst races ive played/made is called FALLING UP

http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/jobs/job/s6xHZeO-50SCj2YlAWLFBQ?platformId=1

It took me 4 hours of game time to make this map and everytime i played it I would have to jump into a river a coulple times and everytime i did that i would have to respawn cause the engine flooded! It was so hard that I myself the creator and host gave up on the race and encougaed everyone else too. The funny part was that everyone but one person(myself) liked it and said just fix the game breaking river that takes minimum of 5 respawns to pass lol

After trying out the stunt jumps in a test for a CC race i turned that crap off and vowed to never ever ever ever use it in my race excatly for the reasons that you labled

The worst one was probably a motorbike race with a checkpoint on top of the built-in wooden bridge near fort zancudo. There was a jump, but strangely the motorbike crashed each time you drove up the jump. The author somehow managed to find a way to pass the checkpoint, of course, but me and another guy tried to get by it for 2 minutes....

was the trigger/start point near the freeway? that might be mine :(

is the name was fort zancudo?

5 Reasons how to spot a bad race:

5). The creator posts asking; "Is that my race?"

4). The race has 0 votes for 0 plays

3). The description is" Really FUN!"

2). Deafault class is set to motorcycles but the race starts with a jump

1). The race is named Fort Zancudo

Seriously if a creator can't come up with a decent name and a good description you may as well not play the race. Spend effort while building your races, test them before releasing them (you can host them without publishing them), spend time building the GTA mode of your races as well (since that mode cant be disabled), think of a good name, make a good description, go back and edit flaws etc you find during testing, then and only then publish your job.

Eh... maybe no one just has found that specific race. :p

The votes and plays doesn't accurately reflect the playthroughs either. I have several tracks that I've been farming that show with 0 or very few playthroughs, and a random number of likes/dislikes where I know each number should be different just based on what I've seen I received ingame. And this is in addition to all the times I played them alone. I wouldn't give that system too much thought. Alot of players seem to like/dislike based on how well they finish, how much cash they're paid, and basically things determined by how much they themselves suck aswell. Been getting dislikes on BMX tracks for example by people choosing tricycles, because they end up with a DNF when the race explicity state they need a BMX, and also use it as the suggested vehicle. (You can only choose to exclude classes, not vehicles) If you haven't noticed, people in general on GTA Online are idiots and dicks. Even had this one guy once who kept asking to replay my race so he could win(Eventually had to slow down and wait for him, because I really felt bad for him and his incompetence), just to vote "dislike" every single time, and then vote "replay" again. His skill level was limited to crashing straight through turn signs and left/right bales, mowing past checkpoints pointing left/right down a street only to keep going, infinately and driving straight into the walls of buildings, maybe somehow expecting the building to move. I think alot of people have just completely misunderstood the purpose of the rating system and end up rating their own performance and not the race, it's not like GTA is designed as a very intuituitive games when it comes to the purpose of the controls and stuff anyways.

Fachuro...you are going through an awful lot of trouble to call others idiots. You aren't as knowledgeable as you seem to think you are.

1. When you run a custom race within a playlist the system does not register it as a "play".

2. Each unique player only gets one vote on your race. If they change their vote then it will count again but repeat votes don't count.

3.You CAN select exactly what individual vehicles are allowed or not allowed. For xbox press X on the class name.

4. People vote a race based on whether they liked the experience.

5. 0 votes means it was either just made, just reset with changes or everyone that played it picked "no vote". It also suggests that after the creation/changes the author did not even bother to run the track himself and put his one yes vote on it, much less get anyone else to try it and give feedback before posting it up on a forum for the world to see.

Might want to get your own information straight before you go spouting off about others.
