Had these 2 guys where one went to get an heli just to try to squash me while the other was driving in circles around my little wall, lol. The heli guy crashed and nearly killed me, but just then I managed to enter the other guy's car while he was still in it, so I took out a grenade ...and boom!

I was on a bridge with my Rhino and some Troll thought he could get my Tank with passive mode. So I hit him with my massive pipe and threw him off the bridge

They called a merryweather chopper and shot the pilot and tried to kill me with that. Didnt work. I let them do this while i smoked a doobie and they wouldnt stop. Once i finished i simply called pegasus for my Buzzard which spawned as expected at the hospital and i proceeded to drink all my pisswassers till i passed out and respawned right at the hospital. Dont have to tell you what happened next

I stock up on beers more than Body armor the ability to get out of an area by passing out is a neat trick.

Must have wondered what was going on when while doing everything they could to try and kill me i just start downing bottle after bottle of beer until "boom" i;m gone lol. By the time i got back to them they were still in their defenceless little chopper too ahahaha

Anyons first kill against me is usually cheap and easy. I don't shoot first unless your an obvious threat. Player a sets bounty on me. Then see player a approach ne on the map. I'll shoot. The bounty clearly states his intent.

 

Usually try to kill anyone twice who killed ne once. Nearly always successfully.

 

Troll is a term used too much though. One gyy killed me once so when respawned dived into a clothes store and took cover. Killed him 6 times as he tried to come in and get me. And sends me a message calling me the troll for not playing right. Just pissed off hes losing a fight he started.

 

I consider myself intelligent. And I wim most encounters in free roam. Largely for 2 reasons. 1 the mentality of most players to kill everyone on sight tends to indicate limited intelligence. There first thought is kill.

 

Drove past one guy got shot. Respawned near ammunation ran up on the roof sure enough guy comes to get me camps the door. Bam from the roof. Didn't see me up there. All he sees is my blip over the gun icon so presumed i was inside. Dropped down ran inside he comes back aiming at the roof. Step outside pop out from the corner bam. Then off the radar run across the road and bam 3-1

 

Most players of the kill on sight mentality in free roam are rather limited in intelligence think thays why so many hide in tanks. Which brings me to the second reason. When I see tanks I'm smart enough to move and get out the way.

On the topic of passive mode. Why does everyone still try to come up and shoot you?

Do they not get it? It's not even low levels it;s people with tanks or high levels.

I think they do it in case you just disabled passive mode and are still on the 10 second countdown. It's a crappy game mechanic where they can kill you during those 10 seconds whilst you cannot kill them until the timer reaches zero.

 

I have had some success with tank griefers who go into passive mode after I have destroyed their tank and go up a staircase to avoid being run over by a car, by using my motorbike to reach them.

Passive mode is not really passive now is it? I've been shot int he back plenty of times by so called passive players.

 

In cars there is no passive mode. It's disabled and killing someone with it on in a car disables it anyway.

So far the only decent suggestion has been the chopper blades.

The fire truck one is easy to beat as it takes so much time.

And you can be killed in exactly the same way you can't just drive down a street killing player after player either it takes you out of passive mode the moment you kill someone.

I like mugging them because they have to come out of passive to go after the mugger.

I know better than to come out of passive for any reason. Tanks and other douchebags always fire at me for more than 10 seconds, hoping that I have disabled passive for whatever reason, just timing out, and they will get their free cheap easy kill. They don't.

 

Conversely, one of the tricks used by the frustrated people who get repeatedly pwned, is to go into passive after they respawn and pretend that they will be non-threatening, good sports, "hey, you pwned me, but we're all friends now, right?" and they come right up to me (I am not in passive at that point because I just got through handing them their ass) and they stick with you like glue, direct contact. What they are doing, is that they have disabled passive mode and they are just waiting for the timer to finish so they can unleash a surprise melee attack. Just another way to play the game that has nothing to do with actually playing the game. I have won one and lost one against sh*theads using that trick, so I know now to keep an air gap. It's funny because they keep chasing me around like a lovesick puppy.

Only way I've seen it is when they shoot you unexpectedly then turn it on so you can't kill them back, or people on passive act like there friendly, then shut it off, kill you, and turn it back on. I can think of other ways but I never really see anything bad. They should just have separate lobbies for people who don't want to kill. f*ck bad sport, if you don't want your car blown up then don't play a game call Grand Theft Auto.

Usually if someone is in passive mode I leave them be, obviously they don't want trouble, hence the reason they went passive in the first place.

Yeah it's to be expected. I always check the radar before going into shops because it leaves you prone to an arse raping by some trigger happy retard. I can't talk much because I do it, if I see someone in a shop I gun them down as well lmao mainly because it's funny but I don't go to any extra lengths to kill players inside shops,, only if I happen to be in the area at the time.
