Post your funniest and best ways you have killed passive mode trolls.

 

Running them over repeatedly is always fun

 

Chopping them up with Helicopter blades is hilarious

 

Luring them into cars then gunning them down is also terribly funny to see their respawn reactions

Call Lester, put a 1000 dollar bounty on them (because spending any more than that now is pointless) and watch half of the players on the map go after them.

 

Then, I usually go play another game mode because Free Roam is a f*cking shark pool with unskilled douchehole trolls and trollbait..

I like mugging them because they pretty much have to come out of passive to go after the mugger (unless they go after in vehicle, and if that case, you can sticky the vehicle or get them some other way.)

I know better than to come out of passive for any reason. Tanks and other douchebags always fire at me for more than 10 seconds, hoping that I have disabled passive for whatever reason, just timing out, and they will get their free cheap easy kill. They don't.

 

Conversely, one of the tricks used by the frustrated people who get repeatedly pwned, is to go into passive after they respawn and pretend that they will be non-threatening, good sports, "hey, you pwned me, but we're all friends now, right?" and they come right up to me (I am not in passive at that point because I just got through handing them their ass) and they stick with you like glue, direct contact. What they are doing, is that they have disabled passive mode and they are just waiting for the timer to finish so they can unleash a surprise melee attack. Just another way to play the game that has nothing to do with actually playing the game. I have won one and lost one against sh*theads using that trick, so I know now to keep an air gap. It's funny because they keep chasing me around like a lovesick puppy. :colgate:

1. This kid was shooting me as I had come out of my Apt, so I shot and killed him around 5 times. He then got a tank and tried to trap me in a corner as I stuck passive on. As he was trapping me I help 'Y' and ripped him out of his tank and starting killing him again, he soon left.

 

so this all happened because this guy wanted to be a dick.

 

 

2. As I was driving down to Los Santos Customs in the middle of the map, a guy tried to shoot me as I went in. I stopped and shot him and then continued to go in a modify my car. As I came out of the Los Santos Customs, the guy was sitting there with a tank aimed at the door. I drove straight past him and he didn't even get one shot onto me. I then proceeded to turn around and RPG him in the tank and I exploded the tank that he was in as well as killing him. I then got my tank to see how he would like it and he put passive mode on and then I just kept continuing to kill him by squishing him. He then left the game and sent me rage messages.

 

It's funny to see how people try to act tough on the game and they end up getting their ass' whooped and then they complain.

 

 

So here's both of my ways.

You must have been in lsc for a looong time for him to get his tank and comeback before you were done. And you must have the most super swaggem rpg to kill that tank, and him not kill u once..

If someone kills me and asks for a fight, then puts on passive mode, I get out my firetruck.

 

Sometimes people try to use passive mode to say "Lets stop fighting" but that is was text messages are for

 

 

ALSO: You CANNOT mug, send mercs, or put bounties on passive players.

Exactly, one can't be a troll in passive by annoying you?

1) Passive mode in a vehicle, blow that sh*t up.

2) Passive mode on foot, can't do sh*t.

 

Only reason why someone's in passive mode with YOU sticking around is because you're being an absolute dick.

 

Besides, if you know how to utilize passive mode well enough, you're untouchable other than NPCs.

I had seen the player using a tank earlier in the game. So as I was trying to make my car it only takes 1 minute 30 seconds or less to get a tank and drive it back.

 

When I blew him up with an RPG, I was on higher ground so I had the upper hand.

Funniest Story:

I was on a bridge with my Rhino and some Troll thought he could get my Tank with passive mode. So I hit him with my massive pipe and threw him off the bridge

You're full of it. It's easier to just snipe someone out of a tank, especially with it's back towards you ( which is the situation you describe ) than to kill a tank with an RPG before he fires and kills you. It was a cool story though, for amateur fiction, anyway.

what? how can you be in passive mode and be a troll? unless you are a tank troll, then that takes precedence of course.

A passive "troll" is someone in passive mode that the OP cant grief in a conventional way. the Op obviously cant grief people that arent in passive mode as he would likely be spawn killed till he rage quit.

How about we talk about ways to troll with passive mode?

Usually idling in passive near a conveniently placed buzzard is a good way. Someone always takes the bait and then suddenly realize they now have a few seconds before they are either blown up or ( if they click and parachute out) get Carbined.

 

Passive mode is a great tool if used wisely. I dont enjoy pointless free roam wars with no end goal so usually ill reserve it for when someone decides they need a new griefing target and it will allow me to either just move away or get to a position to defend. Switching it on to get to higher ground to deal with tanks is a wise move too. As far as firetrucks....You'd have to be pretty desperate for attention if you can only have fun spraying pasive mode players with water. But seriously. By the time you get your firetruck i'd be either loooong gone or in a good position with sniper aimed right at you.

 

XBL id is in my sig if you really wanna try griefing someone that can defend themselves. I'd love to see how you get on ;)

If you aim at the vents on the rear you can tank snipe from much closer than using the distance method, its just a bit trickier. I don't even think this person has an RPG though, considering their overestimation of it's strength.
