The altruists camp in the Chiliad state wildness area is also in a good spot, between the Paleto forest and Raton Canyon. Both are cool places in real life (NoHo and Venice) that I like and would live in. In Vespucci you have a fantastic beach and overall outdoor culture. The real life location of that building is in Torrence, about a 15 minute drive from Venice.
