Does Anyone Else Feel This Way?

I do not like the GTA 5 radio stations. They have generally dull songs with a few good songs scattered around. There is not one perfect radio stations. I listen to Radio Mirror Park for ONE song.Also, instead of putting in 2 terrible rock stations, why didn't they put in an electronic station? (House, Trance, etc.). Vladivostok, in my opinion was by far the best radio station in GTA 4 TBOGT. I can only hope they will put in a better radio station in one of the expansion packs.

But yeah, the entire radio sucks. Every single station imo sucks, except for West Coast Classics. But since I grew up with such music and heard it 9 million times over and over and over again, even that gets boring sooner or later, too. So I just turn radio off completely the moment I get into the cars, anyways. I rather listen to the sound of the engine inside my Carbonizzare or something than that awful radio.

 

Franklin's beats gotta be the WORST station on there. New rap is just a f*cking headache, all that hood gone love it or whatever is SO f*cking annoying. I gotta pause my TV everytime, or turn radio off everytime, so f*ckING ANNOYING.

I agree that Rockstar could have done better at choosing radio stations and music to go along with their game. I think the music is a very integral part of the game. It's the first thing you hear when you get into a vehicle, and it's what you're listening to when you're in a car chase, or flying over a desert, or cruising around in a boat. Personally, my favorite radio station is Los Santos Rock Radio, and I like the Lowdown too. But I absolutely despise that trashy East Los FM. But remember, we all have our own opinions and musical preferences.

The songs in GTA 5 are all perfect! Well done sam houser!! ahah I love them all! how can you not like them?

The rock stations are *bleh*. There is a better selection of rap than in GTA 4. The DJs and talk radio shows aren't nearly as funny as GTA 4. Overall, I think that the radio (and television) is weaker in GTA 5, but it's counterbalanced by the larger, more immersive world. There is way more to do in GTA 5 than 4. Way less than SA, but it looks and feels better in GTA V.
