Mission tactics and bonehead moves...

Ok, the games been out for 4 months but some players are just starting to do missions again. Post your Top do's and don'ts....

 

DO

 

1. Get your own car, most of the time it's better if everyone has their own vehicle, and do you really think your getting a ride wearing an ape mask and a diaper?

 

2. Wait for everyone to get there! The guy who had to call his mechanic is a few seconds behind you and your chrome adder, just wait so he doesnt have to stop and set his own GPS.

 

3. Use 2 people to deliver whatever it is your delivering, 1 to drive and 1 to shoot.

 

DONT

 

1. Blow up whatever it is we're suppose to be stealing,

 

2. Use up team lives by dying on the way to the mission

 

3. Drive like a dufus and roll the truck, crash the plane, etc.....

Do: wait for people at the beginning of the mission and drive in one car or two.

Don't: Drive directly into the middle of the mission area and get everybody shot up right off the bat.

Do: have a mission ready vehicle when you accept a mission.

Don't: take a mission from your phone while driving a dune loader or some other (way cool but) slow vehicle.

Don't: When driving to a mission location with a passenger, don't park the car in front of the bad guys; especially if they start shooting once you arrive.

 

Do: Abandon any vehicle that needs to be transported and evade the police on foot and then return to the vehicle to avoid the vehicle being damaged or destroyed.

 

Don't: Go in GUNS BLAZING!!

Lives are valuable and hate not having that extra life to use because someone thought they were Rambo.

 

Do: Use your snacks during missions.

 

Don't: Seperate from the team unless you know the map.

Do: always make sure your stocked up on snacks especially meteorite and egochaser they like the other snacks fill healt bar up when your health is low for those who don't know

Do: Set missions to hard for 1.5x RP
Do: Be careful with the packages. for ex, in "Los Santos Connection" don't use the buzzard in the 1st ambush, unless you want to destroy the package and fail mission

Great One! Someone always seem to roll the trailer evading POPO. BTW, you can get it back on its wheels with a couple of cars, helps if one is a super car with a low front end.

Do: pick up the packages, get back in a vehicle, then get straight back out. This can often trigger all the enemies that are supposed to ambush you on the road & make them come for you - and as you've probably just had to fight your way in, you should have seen where all the good hiding spots are. Hunker down, kill them all as they arrive, THEN make the delivery in peace.

 

Don't: forget to check out the surrounding area. There's often a nice place to go to snipe a load of the opposing force without tripping the "arrival" flag, gaining you precious time & saving armour/health for when it really matters.
