The Lonesome Drifter

Actually the only two mission's I enjoyed was the first one with the jewelry store and the depository ,every mission in between was mind numbing.

The paleto score was fun though, and it was one of the only 4 missions where u actually got PAID!!!

(Only missions where u get money are when u do the Jewelary heist, Paleto Heist, The big Score, and the Trevor mission where u take over the sandy shores airstrip)

It's like that for a reason.

all your questions would be answered if you took the time to pay attention to the story and dialogue. OK let me begin with 3 important points

steve haine's missions were not fib missions but steve haines missions. he had things he needed done under the table.

micheal townley is a highly trainned badass and his custom animations reinforce this. its never revealed in the storyline why, but consider, micheal townley survived waking up in the iaa headquaters and killing every one in his way. mike townley sniped a man from way across the street in that mission with the interrigation. mike townley's abilities are so trusted that he actually was present in the mission monkey buisness, in fact whenever mike townley's crew is required mike townley is present on the mission while frank and trev and doing other assorted task.

mike townley is also wrapped around the trigger finger of dave norton. please remember that when you ask why would they be doing any of the fed missions.

Micheal Townley is not in the witness protection program. he is actually illegally paying dave norton, an FBI agent whose carrer was made by micheal townley, to hide him from the world and make him seem dead. thats the biggest misconception

Now, when dave norton finds out that mike is robbing sh*t again, he confronts him using blackmail. mike asks him to get rid of trevor so mike has to scratch his back too. steve finds out about townley and norton's illegal relationship, so he abuses it to solve the problems he and the fib have.

He knows the story, stop trying to come across as being a clever smartass. You're just telling him what he already knows.

What he's saying is that the way this part of the story was structured and put together was so poor and mediocre, that what was the point of it all ? It's a question that is supposed to evoke a detailed debate and discussion. You ever heard of rhetoric mister ?

I guess not.

if he knew the story, then he wouldnt have a problem, while i agree that the storyline could have had less fib stuff, and more gritty crime missons, you guys act like the fib stuff was random and unbelieveable. i believed it because of the reasons outlined in my posst. everybody had everyone else by the balls making everybody do sh*t the didnt want to, even the player.

and calm down dude i meant no disrespect
