All the time on the radio and walking down the roads you hear people talking about the other cities, but there your not able to access them. I feel like the airport could become so much more as a transportation hub to travel to these destinations. You also see the same brand names as well in the world... I think Rockstar needs to tie the worlds togeather better some how.

It was stated early on that they were hoping to expand GTA Online to those locations.

 

Given the troubles online has had however, and the length of time it is taking to get heists out.. I'm not particularly optimistic about the chances of that happening.

I would much rather have the 3 cities of San Andreas over what you just proposed.... atleast it would be viable to travel to each of them. Plus San Ferro and Las Venturas are like the bastard children of GTA... never get remembered and perhaps 2 of my favorite cities... Especially Las Venturas... I had so much fun rampaging the strip lol...

Well Liberty City is already made, I don't see any issues besides updating minor details of putting that in the game.

I would think it wouldn't matter too much. Each city would be in it's own separate instance, IMO.

Think of it as separate lobbies. You leave a Los Santos lobby, with sixteen players, and arrive in a Liberty City lobby with sixteen players. The same as finding a new session, except you are also changing geography.

Hmm, maybe if you could own a safehouse in each city, I wouldn't have a problem with that then.

It would make bounty hunting some serious business. Having to actually hunt down a bounty, would be kinda cool actually.

yes, it would be a lot better if you could just fly into the cities like how San Andreas made it. Remember in GTA 3/Vice City when you went into a different city there was a loading screen? That was kinda annoying especially in chases cause it interrupted the greatness.

Ideally you would be allowed to, yeah. I'd be pretty surprised if that wasn't the case though.

No one seems to care for San Fierro and Las Venturas. I think they don't even exist anymore because in the game Las Venturas is mentioned by it's real name, Las Vegas.
