Does anyone else teleport often?

I saw numerous threads and videos a while back, and I was wondering if anyone else still uses this game mechanic.

 

I find it to be extremely useful in many situations such as getting away from someone who will just not stop chasing you or if you just want to customize a car in peace. It's quick, easy to do, and very useful.

 

 

I've even gone to the extent of creating my own, custom jobs just so that I can teleport the exact location that I want to.

 

Here's my "Teleport" locations/jobs:

 

 

 

 

Teleport: Weasel Plaza

 

Teleport: Eclipse Towers

 

Teleport: McKenzie Airfield

 

Teleport: LSI

 

Teleport: CLS MC

 

Teleport: Casino

 

Teleport: Vespucci Beach

 

Teleport: Beeker's Garage

 

Teleport: Paleto Bay

 

Teleport: Sandy Shores

 

Teleport: Chumash

 

Teleport: Cypress Flats

 

Teleport: Fort Zancudo

 

Teleport: Impound Lot

 

Feel free to add any or all of these to your game if you wish to use them. I don't mind.

 

 

 

 

 

So, do any of you guys still use this feature, and if you do, do you think Rockstar will ever "fix" this "issue"? I doubt they will, because I think it's working as intended.

 

 

 

Also, here's how to "teleport" for those that do not know.

 

 

 

 

First, find or make a job with a trigger location that is where you desire to teleport.

 

Then, go to the playlist menu, select create playlist, then add that job to a playlist by itself.

 

Now, whenever you wish to teleport to the desired location, simply start the playlist, wait for the lobby screen to load, then exit the lobby.

 

You will now be in the exact freemode that you were previously in, but now you will have been teleported to the job's trigger location.

I mostly use it to reach the top of Mount chilid and at the marina when I call in a helipcopter. For tank griefers it works well also.

Sometimes spawn back into a different lobby though which can be a pain

Best way i found to teleport? Drink so much that you pass out and wake up somewhere random

i use it all the time, whether im pinned by a tank griefer or sniper, i teleport haha

 

best thing is that it teleport you PV too

 

my teleport list include the airport, buzzard spawn locations, tank spawn locations, all lsc, the docks and home.

I doubt they'll patch it. It's widely known and been since day one. I only use it when wreck my car and the damn mechanics being a clown. Or to zip to the north side of Hilliard to claim a bounty that things he's bein smart

I could see it being very useful when a tank monkey is relentlessly spawn camping you. Just go passive, teleport to tank spawn, and BAM, your on equal ground with the child,

I don't do it the exact same way as I don't use it to go to a specific location, but if someone is camping outside my apartment waiting to snipe me coming out of the garage I will start a quick job to teleport to anywhere else on the map. Also handy if you finish a job and end up way up in Paleto Bay or something you can quick job and get back to civilization.

Teleporting is boss Vrs tanks, make the tank chase you across the map then port back and grab yours! also helps out with campers outside of your garage.

find a race/mission/deathmatch closest to where you want to port too, press start > playlist > create, & add that job, go back and save the playlist, now when you want to teleport go to start > playlist > > my playlist, and select location.

My method of fast travel is fast car or an aircraft. I've experienced two people trying to simeon garage grief me. They both failed. I really don't see the point of fast travelling, if someone wants to chase me then I will simply kill them. If they want to chase me further they have to catch me first. Not hating on anyone who uses it but personally I like a continuous streaming experience, not one shortcut with any type of loading screens.
