Gameralfa095
i had always tought that a female main character would be great for the franchise but shurely Rockstar doestn wanna risk that much so a DLC would be a perfect oportunity for Rockstar to experiment and see if it really works what do you think would you like a female main character in GTA? lizardman563
I think it'd be cool, a new perspective; as a DLC that is.

Fuzzknuckles
Yes, I'd be interested in it. Prepare to have your thread derailed by loads of really super masculine little boys that think playing as a girl will make them gay. CantThinkOfOne2013
Coming from a male gamer: yes actually as it would be something different and unique. But I doubt it would ever happen as I have heard of male gamers refusing to play games such as Tomb Raider because of a female protagonist (their loss though, they missed out on some great games) and their are enough Tomb Raider boob memes to show that gamers are too immature for female protagonists. What I really wish they would add more than anything is the ability to make your own character like in Saints Row, that way you could play as anyone you want. no because that's sexist Sexist? how so, that makes no sense, than again, nothing that a hater says makes sense. Cutter De Blanc
There isn't a strong female character like that in the story. If they did it, it'd be like it was just for the sake of doing it. I don't think it would be a good idea.
Pathum
I want to play as the "GREEN LIGHT GREEN LIGHT" lady.
MrJimmy
Rockstar was one of the first video game publishers to release a game with a black main character, so I don't see why they can't release one with a female lead character, just to balance things out a bit. RememberToTaper
This is actually a good idea. It would be an excellent way for R* to test the public response. I don't think many GTA fans would mind a female character. Maybe make her like a Uma Thurman bada** like in Kill Bill (but with guns instead of swords!) Crazyman2389
I wouldn't mind seeing a female main character.
SupraDork
No. I wouldn't want them to waste valuable time and effort on something so banal and... politically correct... in a game where PCness is the enemy. I would *much* rather them focus purely on more heist missions for the already existing characters.
Mokrie Dela
No. Because V has 69 missions which is on average 33 per character. IIRC IV had like 90? My point is any story DLC will be like 4 missions (IV had 90 odd, DLC was about 20 so i think if V is 3-odd per character, a new DLC won't be as extensive and therefore would only add 10 or less missions) My point is a new character via DLC would be pointless. I'd rather a fully fleshed out story. I didn't enjoy V as much as IV. Several reasons, which i wont fully go into, but it was very unrewarding for me. I'd love a female character, but the sexism point is actually a good one - as the male character, we can hire prostitutes - would the female be a lesbian or would we hire male prostitutes - and who here wants to bang a man in a game? Plus, i think 90% of us would dress her up in a bikini and watch the boobs jangle. The solution would be for rockstar to make clothing such that we can't do that of course, but if a female character was to feature as a lead in GTA, itd have to be in GTA VI, where she is one of another 3 - a dynamic which works well in V - three different characters and play styles, the female could be one of them. and if you don't want to play as a female, do what I do with trevor, and try not to use it as much The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. GtaGuy420
Yes... Its time for a female to take center stage and a DLC is a perfect place for it.
Fuzzknuckles
I'd rather play as a new female character than any of the side characters introduced in V. If we get a Lamar DLC, I'm going to seriously hurt everyone. EV.ER.Y.ONE. Signatures are dumb anyway.

kj2022
I'd prefer a female protagonist as a full title not DLC tbh, where it'd be a good thing to have it would feel a bit tacked on if it were just DLC.
chrisscorsese88
I wouldn't mind a female lead character (I'm a guy and actually enjoyed Tomb Raider, along with other titles featuring female leads such as Metroid) but I don't think it would work as DLC. Maybe in the next GTA, but they would really have to work on that female character's history and make her interesting instead of throwing her in there just for the sake of having one. Real_Badgirl
and who here wants to bang a man in a game? I would, and I'm sure there are plenty of other female GTA fans who feel the same.
Fail_At_GTA
As long as Rockstar fully develops a backstory for the character and she is generally likable and isn't made just to satisfy horny gamers, then sure, I'd like to see a female protagonist. Although female protagonists are generally weaker, it would be a new interesting approach to the GTA universe that hasn't been attempted yet. I just hope she wouldn't be like Catalina, or whatever the woman from GTA 3's name was.
Trindalas
I would like to see that, as i usually, when given the choice, play female characters, just cause I like to, despite being male, lol. Not enough games let you play them as a main character.
AustinN
I'd love to play a female GTA protagonist, but I don't know if a DLC would be enough to fully explore the opportunities that would present.
iiGh0STt
no way 3 characters is enough. not to mention i have had enough of the women in gta v already. the only cool one was taliana martinez imo.
elias2012
I'd like to see Vasquez the girl cop become the main protagonist. Not only would we be able to play as a girl, but a cop too. It would be epic. Also spoiler alerts down below. Since Vasquez is required to be killed in Gta online it would have to take place before the events of Gta Online, which is okay because that would mean it would take place at the same time as Gta 5 so we could see characters return from Gta
