Does nobody enjoy racing?

I love racing (apart from GTA & some rare exceptions, I only play racing games)

as I'm a massive car guy, but most races aren't fun at all due to the fact it's always Supers with catchup, meaning you have the lead right till the end when some kid blasts past in their Adder as catchup boosts his power but restricts yours, & yet they have the audacity to boast about their victory...& the tracks are atrocious, Jumps Jumps Jumps are you kidding? Sure it's cool the 1st time you race, but after that it's just retarded, but the kiddies love it so...oh & OP if you need someone to race, send a friend request to bigscooter123, I'm always up for a good race.

matchmaking seems to be largely dependant on people in the lobby

the more players there are the quicker it seems to fill up.

so if no1 joins, no1 will join

I like racing, but some sore loser always spins me out so they can win. My friend invited me to a 1vs1 earlier. I was winning, he span me out but I carried on. After a lap of him being in lead he crashed and quit the race because he couldn't catch me.

1. Racing is bad money compared to missions for most of the players involved.

2. Players who need unlocks can't compete in custom car races.

3. Long queue times. Expands the problem of issue 1.

 

 

Considering the lousy payouts alone (for everyone but the winner), races are sh*t and only good for either funzies with friends or for trading wins for car unlocks.

 

 

I`ve made 9 million of races.. So you are wrong on all those 3 points.

 

1. Racing is the best for getting cash simply because you don`t waste any ammo.

 

2. Player who can`t win races to get unlocks are just awful and should not bother racing.. Public racers are so bad that you should have no problem winning in stock version. Especially with catch up on

 

3. Long ques do happen but its not hard to find packed races or find race crews.

I hated every second of racing and only raced to unlock the car mods. I haven't wasted another f*cking second of time racing since I unlocked the last engine mod.

 

I backed out of the vast majority of races, for several reasons.

 

if traffic was on, I backed out. It has been my experience that traffic on favors the person who gets out to an early lead and f*cks everyone else. It was also just one more frustrating factor given all the bumper car bullsh*t that happens in every race.

 

If Custom cars were turned off I backed out. f*ck you, I earned those cars and have every damn right to race them...

 

If catch up was turned on I backed out. Won't even list all the reasons catch up sucks and should be completely removed from the game. That an entire rant all it's own.

 

If it was a GTA race or rally race I backed out. Hate both types of "races".

 

After racing I would back out if everyone voted to goto a mission, parachute job, deathmatch. I came to race, I was there to unlock mods, all I wanted to do was race.

 

After a race I would back out if there were a majority of dirty racers in the lobby.

 

R* should have given us the ability to filter out the races we were trying to join. Just another aspect of lazy match making design on their part

Never understood why we get this. People join races to race. Not do 1 race then go do a D.M
