I liked GTAO a lot but haven't been on it for a few weeks (a month properly) just because I got addicted to SAMP again, nothing to do with hackers or any of that stuff, GTAO's alright

 

I'm jw if anyone else has stopped playing for a while (til a major update comes out), but not out of hate/dislike for the game, and also lurks the forums to discuss things with people

thinking of quitting GTA:O for a while so i could get some sh*t unlocked

 

i dont ever see myself joining those battlefield forums tho, any forum based on a competitive game is bound to be crawling with lifeless nerds who take their vidya games too seriously

I was VERY close to it. I'd tired of the idiots in open lobbies and so was playing Invite Only on my own most of the time. Levelling up slowly and a lot of stuff I couldn't do so I was getting quite bored.

 

Then, I joined the crew I'm in and that really opened the game back up for me. I'm having a better time with it now than I ever was and hopefully can see it lasting a while.

 

And I shouldn't really say this, but the hacked money helped too lol

Id love to still be playing, but after the last week, my brand new Ps3 which i bought on the day after release included with GTA 5 is now freezing while playing even single player. It's gotten to the point already that I can even be on foot walking around in the desert and it will freeze up , trying to load another detail model. So all in all, i haven't touched it in a few days, and I don't think ill even bother with it any more.

I switched back today to Midnight Club L.A. and fell back in love with it. It was my game to play before GTA V was released and was my time killer while waiting. It's almost like GTA V, just minus the chaos and the guns, so It's not much of a dramatic change in scenery or location. Practically the same.

Just a quick suggestion about the freezing. I had the same problem on SP mode but someone told me to sign out of PSN before playing. Seemed to work for me then although you need to sign back in if you play GTAO

I don't play it as much as before. The lost of my money really took a lot of fun out of the game, since I'm back on restrictions now.

 

Bought Killer is Dead today, so going to be playing that. I also still play Black Ops 2.

I had stopped playing for a cpl weeks but logged on xmas day to see the snow and then got 8billion dollars and i was playing everyday since then but havent even logged on since the maintenance.

 

I need CnC or heists to bring me back.

I actually force myself into playing it rather than being motivated about it.

eh I'll admit receiving cash put me off a little bit but another reason would be my PS3's fan going loud as a hairdrier after 10 minutes of playing

Over at the BF4 forum, they are saying the same thing about the GTA Online forum.

 

But they do express genuine respect for the GTA0 tank griefers and posters who brag about their K/D ratios here.

Had a break of 17 days, thought I'm done with this game forever, because I saw and did almost everything since October, the whole game bored me. 4 days ago I started playing again, felt good to be back. Now I know that I just needed a longer break.

Matter of fact, I bought GTA in a post Black Friday sale and have not gone back to BF4, nor will I until they fix it (which they can't, the underlying engine cannot support the game, to say nothing of the sh*tty ass feature bloat and lockon spam).

I have slowed my roll. I want to play but get bored fast when I do turn it on. I'm not sure it can be fixed without a new map. I dont think heists can save it on this world. Nothing new even if you fo rob or steal something .

i havent played BF4 much, but only because i got it mostly for the jet gameplay, which made a turn for the worst. jets were fine in BF3, but they took a huge sh*t all over them in 4

BF4 has been slowly getting better and is fun when it works, but yeah, overall been pretty terrible as far as problems go.

 

On Xbox One at least, the sound bug on Golmund Railway is still there despite being present and known since release, lol.

i'll prolly just play BF4 briefly and return to GTA:O immediately after tbh, havent heard anything of any patches

 

bugs arent even the problem to me (except that one where hits sometimes dont register), there's just some huge balancing issues that need to be worked out

I don't play as much anymore... Even before most of my money was removed, I got terribly bored of the game. I still golf and play tennis with friends and cruise around from time to time... But overall I'm very bored of it... Just playing other games like L4d2 RDR and Fallout 3, Forza 4, etc. there's just nothing new to do anymore the excitement is gone. I enjoy playing single player more, to be honest... More things to do.

They blow up your PV and get in theirs, making themselves invincible, and try to run you over.

 

If you do seek refuge inside a stolen car, they shoot out your tires and just smash into you repeatedly with their PV and you can't do a single thing to fight back.

I was actually thinking about starting to play it again since I can't find anything to do in Single Player after getting 100%.

 

I checked what was going on with my character after that 24-hour maintenance thing. I had around $1.7 million from doing jobs, races, robbing stores etc. Legitimate money.

 

After the update that supposedly fixed the cheating issues and removed all the glitched/hacked money, for some reason I am now left with $185,000.

 

Safe to say I'm done with Online. I was never big on multiplayer games anyways, but still - all that hard work and now it will be ridiculously hard to do anything in a game where everything costs a sh*tload of cash.
