Well.. What governs 'reality'? I mean GTA IV already looks pretty photo realistic with ENB mods lol.

Really?

I must be the only person that thinks the ENB mods make the game look hideous.

ENB isn't as bad as you guys make it out to be lol.. I mean, probably the most interesting ENB settings are probably the more 'subtle' ones.

On the other hand, ENB on San Andreas.. Lol..

1. ENB is f*cking magical

2. GTA 4 and Skyrim with a good ENB is even more f*cking magical

That is pretty impressive, but it's still pretty obvious it's computer graphics, to me at least anyway.

The issue is lighting and shadows, you can make super realistic graphics now, but a computer will never be able to tell where light will be, it guesses pretty well but never 100% perfectly. It's why CGI is obvious when used in movies. If the computer could guess the lighting and shadows 100% it would look real. Video games is slightly different though, since it's artificial light which is why it looks better than CGI in most cases.

Have fun playing that sh*t with arthritis. Nah just kidding, I think within 10-15 years we'll have this.

There are better ENBs out there, those screenshots only show about 2 or 3 different ones.

That may be the case, but it won't change the fact that it just doesn't look real. Also, if you're going to post such images, post them in high resolution. The highest resolution photo you posted looked the worst.

Thx for your opinions. But isn't there a way to calculate the time it will take, till a gta in real life graphic will be created ?

I read anywhere that every new generation of playstation gets 3-4 time more power.
But i dont know, how many power it would need to play a big game like gta v in this graphic.

No modder, hacker or pc fan here who can give his/her estimate ?

(maybee without the perfect lights and shadows)

Actually! Look up Tom Clancy's The Division, and their computer knows where light will be.

Can't you guys just quote the text instead of all the pictures on every post?

They have reached this point graphically... the problem is motion... still pics are amazing in GTA but Motion will always bring games and graphics down. For some reason creating fluid motion is the hardest thing to have. What I mean by this are animations, body motion, draw distance, even the rendering of an object when you walk closer or further from it.
