Two Muggers?

Mugged someone earlier this afternoon and two muggers tag-teamed the same player. It was like the player had maybe just "escaped" and another one spawned and the one he'd escaped from must have also caught up?

 

The one took him out of the car and drove off and another one knocked him down while he watched the car drive away. Just classic.

 

I'd TOTALLY pay for that again - maybe $3k instead of $1k?. Maybe they both head in different directions - one takes the money and the player doesn't know which?

Three people can't call and get a mugger at the same time. It will tell you the mugger is working for someone else. They can call one after another but the first mugger needs to be terminated first or get away.

I was rag dolled back to back. I was not privy to the order they called.

While I will try to avoid ever paying for regular GTA0 cash cards, I would gladly pay for a "Terminator" card that, for maybe $0.25 of real money, would set loose an invincible, unstoppable super-mugger that would not stop until the target player was dead, or rage-quit. Now that kind of power would be priceless.

I can back WBaker. I got tag teamed by 2 muggers pretty back to back once. I think if the orders come through quickly enough in the same small window that the game will not see the difference and allow muggers to be used coincidentally. Got stunned, got up, took my sniper out and tried to line up a shot only to be mugged again xD

 

I have also witnessed various people being mugged pretty at the same time through the ingame popups pretty much one right after the other on a few occasions.

 

Guess you got to give Rockstar the credit for the lousy coding to allow it to be possible

Baker ain't lying. If you and someone else call for a mugger at the exact same time the game will register two or more muggers to the same person. It's hard but I have sat in with the crew and did it.

People should try a "synchronized mugger call" where they all coordinate on the mic, to call the mugger on the same player at the exact same time, and see how many glitched muggers they can create.

Why is it lousy coding? if two different players send muggers after another one why shouldn't there be two muggers sent after that player? I'm sure Lamar has more than one thug friend

Was in a invite only lobby with a friend and he wanted to see a mugger, so I sent one after him. But it never showed. So, we go find a train and mess around for about 20 minutes or so riding around on the train (never leaving the lobby for any jobs or such). We get off the train and out of nowhere he gets knifed by the mugger. Holy delayed reaction Batman.

A little off topic but is it possible for a mugger to have a minigun? I was on a rooftop and i left the room for a minute and when I came back there was a npc with a minigun shooting me. Funny thing was he wasn't even spraying so I lived.

I saw this happen once when I sent a mugger after someone in the clothes store.. caught his name on the list as he was switching from shirts to pants or something. The mugger showed up and walked into the store and shadowed the guy (player icons change to passive when you're choosing clothes). When he switched from pants to another clothing item the mugger didn't have time to stab and then a second one showed up!

 

And then a third mugger lol! All three were clones of each other (I'm watching all of this on my tv) And then they followed the guy outside the store without knifing him. Very odd thing.

Because it seems like it's a none intended feature. If you try to order some mercenaries or a mugger while another is clearly on the job, then you get a prompt telling you the service is unavailable til the mugger already in use has completed/or failed his job.
