Is there any way to get beautiful custom colors on your cars?

By that I mean colors that don't appear like a rich, dark purple, or cyan.

 

I've heard of the hex editors on crew colors but doesn't that simply default into the closest default crew color?

No, you can use any color you'd want.

I dont know if its RGB or HTML, tho.

play with pearlescents, you can get practically any color you want

If you want one for your crew, find the RGB and Hex of one, then inspect element it, and edit the RGB code and the 2 hex codes.

Oh and PS you can have as many custom collors as you want, just not more then 1 crew logo.

I've had some great results with metallic Sea Green + Bright Green pearlscent, the Schwarter? (bluish purple) metallic + Surf Blue pearlscent and Cabaret Red + Candy Red pearlscent.

Took me over 15 to 20 tries to get it spot on though. I've saved the collor code somewhere but eh.. last time i tried to set it as my crew collor again, it said the collor was no longer supported, along with many shades or purple.

 

I'm not sure what R* did with last update ect, but somehow some collors can't be set as crew collors. Not even if you use the collor creator on R*'s website it self.

 

It keeps saying:

with many shades of purple.

 

 

 

So i'm lucky to have my Infernus painted in these collors before R* screwed up.

PS if you chose any metallic collor before you set/buy your crew collor, and sellect an pearlescent collor, that pearlescent will carry over to your new set crew collor.

I adore yellow pearl on matte black, which gives a slick gold/black look - to the point where I have that as the paint job on every one of my cars.
