How to combat a good jet pilot?

One thing you can try is use Lester's off the radar, or just get a Buzzard from somewhere else and approach him.

LMAO good luck with that one. Those black bugs in the sky called buzzards are one of the most easy targets to take out.

Avoiding missiles in a helicopter is actually really easy, just rotate the helicopter and fly fast. The only problem with trying to shoot a jet using the buzzard is getting close enough to actually lock on to it.

Only problem is that good pilots use their guns. Missiles are useless, and, as you pointed out, easy to dodge. Guns, however, will insta-kill anything in its path. I love shooting down helicopters with guns. :D

the jet should not b in multiplayer imo. there is no way to defend against it.

If you're against a good jet pilot by yourself, there's not much you can do if you're his target.

If you have friends though, jets aren't hard at all to take down. Just find a couple roofs to snipe from. Doesn't matter if you're the best pilot in the world, having multiple people sniping you will at the very least force you to go away.

I'm a good pilot but I rarely use the guns on my buzzard and I don't steal the jet often. There's never many people flying in most of the sessions I've joined either. Everyone camps at the apartments or f*cks about spawn killing.

Sit in a tunnel.

Train tunnel, highway tunnel, any kind of tunnel. They can't get you down there.

Wanna bet?

I've killed so many people with the jet who thought they were safe in tunnels or under bridges. It's all about the angle.

Jet is my go-to vehicle if someone is trolling me. I have way more xp with flight simulators than I do driving/shooting games, so I pretty much dominate the sky.

Was getting trolled by a pair of dudes once, and managed to grab a jet. They followed suit, and we had a 2v1 dogfight situation rolling for a good half hour. I shot down each of them three times before I took too much damage and finally had to parachute out of there (and out of the lobby).

Trick to the jet is just to use the guns in first person. Missiles, especially if you have a wanted level, are damn near useless unless you're against other aircraft-- and even still, if they have a chopper, it alerts them to the fact that you're on them. Bullets are the silent killer.
