ROCKSTAR SUCKS

Every frigging time I'm a gta 5 online lobby, i get kicked for a server connection issue, but my friends are fine. I swear Rockstar needs a kick in the butt, and fix these stupid problems they keep causing, every time they come out with a new update, online gets worse. JUST STOP TRYING FIX THINGS THAT DON'T NEED TO BE FIXED, AND FIX THE ISSUE THAT ACTUALLY NEED TO BE FIXED, LIKE LAGGY LOBBIES, AND BETTER WAYS OF MAKING MONEY, AND MORE RP ON MISSIONS/JOBS.

Let me be more clear on what i mean on things they need to fix: 1. Cops are way friggin over powered. 2. Military jets spawning in right behind you and give you no chance in scoring a jet. 3. Rockstar actually cut the money and rp in half on jobs and races, for no reason. 4. My most prized car says destroyed on my car list, but yet i cant call it to get it back. 5. Cops being able to glitch up unopenable doors, or how they can shoot you throw walls, or they can see you in tunnels or underwater. 6. Players that are in a passive mode, but yet can still shoot other players. 7. I get kicked randomly for no reason except for "Connection To Lobby Server Could Not Be Found." I have the best internet where i live, Its like 40 Mbps. So no its not my connection, Rockstar is just stupid. 8. Car mods are to expensive. 9. With the money in the game for jobs and missions is so low, buying ammo is like pulling an arm and a leg, its too expensive for when you can hold up too 9k rounds for every gun, its TO MUCH BLOODY MONEY. 10. Need More Guns.

Fix better ways of making money and more RP? You can easily fix that yourself by having some patience and play till you get where you want to be. Don't expect them to increase everything so you can rank up faster and buy more stuff.

The troubleshooting section is NOT for complaints--- but for problems that can be solved--- we can't control the fact that the cops are too strong for you or that you don't know how to jack a jet.

 

Fast internet helps with connectivity issues but you may need to forward the correct ports to your console and you might need to mess with your DNS settings.

 

Do you have a static IP address (in network) for your console? Have you forwarded the required ports to that IP address? Or have you placed the console in a DMZ?

 

GTA V Ports for PS3-- according to portforward.com.... (all are TCP/UDP) 5223, 3478,3479, and 3658

 

GTA V Port for Xbox-- according to portforward.com (TCP/UDP) 3074

 

To see a walkthru on forwarding ports--- go to this page and find your router-- click on Brand (Then click close on the advertisement that pops up) and then on next page click on model..... on the page after that click on the game (note the game will be listed after your console-- so for GTA V for PS3, find PS3 GTA V)

 

The above site will walk you through configuring YOUR router-- you will need it's password-- the site will provide the default password which will work as long as the password has not been changed...

 

 

Are you running a wired or wireless connection?

 

Have you tried messing with your DNS settings.... change primary to 8.8.8.8 and secondary to 8.8.4.4

 

The game works fine (connection wise) for most of us most of the time-- I play over wifi (relatively close to my router) without issues and my internet speed on a good day is maybe a third of yours.

 

To get the jet-- when you jack one--- don't go straight up--- go west down the runway and stay extremely low and go out over the ocean-- if you stay low you will not get any missles fired at you.... I've done this at least 20 times on GTAO maybe been shot down once or twice,

 

This guy didn't go down the runway like I normally do but see how low he stayed...
