Its difficult to make a loss. I know a lot of people scream about how expensive ammo is and how hard money is to earn but it really isn't.

I did 2 gang attacks killed half a dozen players and ran through 4 or 5 jobs and it cost me less than 2 grand to restock my guns in ammunation. Hell just 1 of the gang attacks more than paid for my evenings ammo

I swear people on this forum are either the worst players in history or just bitching because thats all they know how to do. All the crying I see about how hard it is to make money and how you have to watch every bullet you fire baffles me. I have never once had the thought that i need to be careful with my ammo or felt forced to cheat or buy cash cards. Its so easy to make around 80k an hour without replaying anything. You get 9k for selling one common car at lsc and thats enough money for ammo for a few hours. Play a 10 minute mission and make double that. Play a survival make 20k and have all the guns in the game and ammo.

Exactly. I dont even buy armour for missions and guns store so much ammo anyway that doing a few survivals or gang attacks just using an AP will fill any SMG's or Assaults you have. Cant remember the last time i actually had to buy ammo tbh.

The funniest part of Sadder Hoarding is this.

Even if you sold all 10 you still can't afford my garage.

Not bragging, but literally a Fully Tuned garage is worth way more than those 10 food stamps.

What is the point of it, if the space they waste means you have nothing.

A fully tuned Futo is out of your price range at those margins.

This was not thought out very well, at all.

"Oh, cool you have an empty garage"

Do the math, stop drinking the Diet Double Dew.

I am sure most feel pretty stupid right now, and those that tell you otherwise are deluded.

Yeah, I'm glad my garages are full of the vehicles I wanna, and fully upgraded already. Easilly $5 million+ in each.

Having started at $0, I'm over $200,000 now. And I'm not avoiding any of my usual expenses, except upgrading random cars off the street. I miss that, but I won't need hacked money to get there again. :)

Exactly, the best thing to come from the dark days was the unparalleled amount of empirical research.

We were able to try any and every car and actually know for certain these are the cars you wanted.

Then there are those followers who think the only joy of money is having it when others don't.

They are hollow vapid wastelands devoid of all spark and creativity.

So, enjoy the 10 Adders up your ass.

Breaking dead even. Moved on to other games since the patch.

So having to actually work for things in a videogame made you quit.... Ok den ...

Well in the green, I stockpiled 12 adders before the wipe and they sold for 700k-723k each (plus the 416k R* left me with)

I had to refill both garages though, so the total gained went down to slightly under 7m

Well, I had 20k before someone gave me 2 billion, after R* took it away, they left me 240k. Now I have 800k because I sold a car that I had on my 2nd character. It's good to go back to the old routine. It was boring to have all that money.

I played for 4 hours with my crew last night doing everything from FR, races, missions and DM and had a blast!! Used ammo at will, "Buy All" before every match and made 107K for the night...spent 23K.

TeammateHelper

I didn't want to hoard dirty money. I said I don't want it, and I don't.

Right after maintenance, I had 235k or something near that. I sold my Feltzer (because it was a horrible car anyway) and replced with an Elegy. Afterwards, I fully tuned my Elegy and Tailgater (using an iFruit mod), putting me down to 20k. Sold my Daemon (because I don't even drive bikes) and replaced with a Primo, which I modded legit, which puts me to 25k.

I'm doing great so far. From my 25k, I went to 28k in a few minutes before I had to go for a while.

The Angel King

With all the cars I blow up using C-4 n such, I spend about a hundred k a day. Make about 100k in an hour. That's without doing missions or survival. I don't touch those. I don't have a problem.

People who filled their garages with adders didn't think about the money it will take to refill those garages. They still won't admit to the err in judgement and think they are sitting pretty. It made more sense to me (and everyone in my crew) to get our garages in order, Pegasus, and the apartments we wanted rather than wasting time on that adder nonsense.

They can look on the bright side though....they can fill their garages with off the street buckets and still have plenty of adder money left.

I will pwn you newbs

Purge left me at 197,000 now I'm at 325,000 so I'm not doing too bad. And this is after spending around 30,000 at ammunition

i already smoked the 550k R* left me, sold 2 of my adders that should give me enough money for atleast 5 days using a average of 250K per session.

for sure gotta cut usage of stickys i use atleast 100 per session and definitely gotta stop blowing personal vehicules as i go for like 10-12 per session.

i made some 40k on 3 missions and have done little over 200k in bounties and stealing simeons cars.

I didn't read through the thread so my 2 cents may be similar to other folks but I figured I would share anyway. I played legit before the Cashtastrophe and I'm playing legit now so it hasn't really affected me. I say this not to brag (because who cares, it's fake money) but just to weigh in and demonstrate for those that have gotten used to not having to worry about money that it is possible to make a lot of money quickly by playing the game the right way:

I have made over a million dollars in the last 2 days by playing missions, selling vehicles, and grabbing the odd armored truck. A million in two days. Is it 2 billion in a matter of seconds? No. But it's certainly enough to fund the average players endeavors for a length of time.

If you play the game as it's intended, by doing races, missions, and other objective oriented activities, the money will pile up more quickly than you think.

If you spend the majority of your time goofing around in freeroam, you will be broke. It's pretty simple really.

update:

after starting with 590k last night i realized i needed to re-insure a cheetah in slot 1.

that was 90k+ so that alone put me back in the red around -30k from where i started after purge...

played normally no thought of grinding im around 545k now. so im 20k+ lol...

basically, if you need to upgrade/purchase cars your never going to be making a profit.

Thankfully i invested everything i could into perfecting my garage and have all the car mods unlocked.

people who say they make 100k an hour i dont know how your doing that. if you play 2 survival missions which is the highest payout its 40k profit then you need to spend around 10k to replenish your ammo... and each mission takes around 25min.

please let me in on your 100k+/hr secrets?

I posted this a while ago but it may help you. Also I have learned you can repeat coveted by pressing square instead of x on the scoreboard.

"If you have two characters start by selling a car on each. Average if you know what to look for is at least 5k and often a 8k or 9k car such as a baller or orcle will be pretty easy to find. So lets say you sell a fathom on one guy and a baller on the other. Thats 13k easy money in less than 10 minutes. Don't spend too long looking to max money as its not worth it.

Next in the mean time, run coveted a few times. If your fast you can do it in 4 min flat but a realistic time going slow would be double that. So without being a pro you can expect to squeeze in at least four runs before your car sales cooldown is up. Those four runs will pay you 48k. Sell another two cars and in a hours time you have 74k.

$13,000 car sales

$48,000 coveted X 4

$13,000 car sales

--------------------------

$74,000 per hour

Now add in a armored truck or two if you luck out and in just over a hour you will have $100,000.

So in a 2.5 hour session its easy to make 200,000 at a semi relaxed pace. Also some missions like rooftop rumble pay wall and are quick so if you get it in your list do it instead of coveted.

You can also get good money from survival as well so feel free to toss in a few rounds. It takes longer but two survivals and four car sale ( 2 on each character) can be done in a hour. That is $64,000 per hour. You would have $200,000 in about three hours. But you need to be able to clear 10 waves consistently."

You're clueless tbh. I created my second character for the sole purpose of stashing 10 adders. I got him to level 5 or whatever just so I could buy a 10 garage apartment. I don't care that his garage will be empty soon, because I don't use him except when I am selling and adder. And if you want to see how someone can sell adders, replenish their garage, and still profit, look a few posts above this one. You are bitter, and you are broke. Congrats.

No one that planned to stash adders said, "well, I could get 10 adders so that I can sell them after the purge, or I can buy this apartment, and this tank/buzzard." We did it all. And it took like 3 mins lol... considering how much profit was made from doing so, no one wasted time. You may not be bitter like the other guy, but you are delusional.

Left with $550,000, now got $1,290,096.

Sold one non-chrome Adder (replaced witha stolen Futo) straight away and done a few survivals and missions. Pretty much all the missions I've been offered recently have been paying out $15k - $20k. Some Simeon cars and radom cars to LSC.

Plus being Scottish, every penny is a prisoner so I'm back to counting bullets.

I gained yesterday. Today, not so much. Kinda broke even if anything. Been doing a lot of stupid sh*t in freeroam so I guess that's got to go somewhere. I tried to farm coveted again today, and no can do. I just hate that going down that same f*cking hill, lol.

I'm happy though. Got $4.1mil in the bank, and still 6 adders waiting to be sold. And I've yet to buy my monthly cash card, so things are pretty swell really.

Monthly cash card? How much we talking about here?

Plus being Scottish, every penny is a prisoner so I'm back to counting bullets.

It's well known us Scottish people are strapped to f*ck on cash.

Profiting. I do half an hours worth of solo racing each day to gain some money and RP so I can then mess around in the free roam money pit.

Since when does racing solo yield any cash? I always thought it gave you some RP, but no money.
