Anyone ever get BS/insurance for destroying something they were surpri

Was (t)trolling around in the tank a little bit this morning and wrecked a Dundreary Regina (the car that looks like something out of the "Vacation" movies with Chevy Chase in the '80's.) without really thinking about it. Got BS/insurance (a hundred bucks lol.) I'm all for people riding around in various cars - it's great when I see a session where not everyone is driving around in an Adder. However, the station wagon was just not something I'd expected was a PV - the player wasn't by it.

 

Was curious if anyone had any amusing stories where they stickied, tanked, or otherwise wrecked another player's car and were surprised to find it was their PV.

Was cruising aorund with a buddy of mean , he was driving a VACCA an i was driving a nice bati i stole earlier. We were racing down the roads and he sped off , i tried to catch up . Reached top speed and didnt notice he stopped at the end of this long road. BAM! my bati exploded on impact, blew his car up aswell and i had to pay :-(

I've destroyed many Asteropes, makes me laugh that people bother with them but if it gets you from a to b..whatever.

I would usually find standard looking cars (mainly emperors and biftas), blow them for the lolz, only to find me having to pay wage for someone's PV. I'm surprised that people don't always go chrome with their cars or go rainbow. But a PV Bifta? That is out of the ordinary for me..

Well, there is no such thing as civilians having Biftas.. So you should have know it was PV.

A guy on my friend's list mainly drives a regina around in free roam. Hell, at one point, he had a 10 car garage full of the things. lol

Some douche was trying his hardest for like 2 hours to kill me while I was in passive mode. He eventually got me due a mistake I made. So I popped him a few times and he started running. I ended up driving into him and his friend in some crappy really slow car, forget what it was but I tossed a sticky bomb on it while cruising past thinking it was a car they had stolen. When I detonate turns out to be his friends PV.

Good thing the insurance payment I had to make was only $100.

Haha i have one of those in my garage fully modded in metallic pea with a full rack of luggage. Funny you mention national lampoons vacation because that's why i have it. I have several movie and TV themed cars. "This is the new wagonqueen family truckster. You think you hate it now, but wait till you drive it."

 

The other car in the pic is the stinger i modeled after the 1961 Ferrari 250 gt california in ferris buellers day off.

My friends got that one car with the guitars and sombrero in the back. He calls it his Shag Wagon. XD
