What's wrong with 40s clothes? People still wear them.

 

Call them "suits" next time. Last I checked, people in Wall Street wear it all the time. Three-piece suits, even.

It would be cool to see some older cars like that in the game, so far I think the Tornado and the Type Z are the closest to that we will get.

 

Also I wouldn't call it "cars from LA Noire" as I would just say "cars from the 40's" since they are all actual cars. Also Rockstar did not develop LA Noire, they merely published it, Team Bondi developed it and I was actually surprised to they procured the rights to things like "Cadillac". You'd never see these in GTA simply because it's GTA and also by not using actual car names they don't need to pay anyone for using said names, and one could argue that GTA being a parody in a sense with fake brands and all, well why wouldn't they have their own fake brand of cars? LA Noire is set in the real world so it's not a parody, although a lot of the brands in the game on billboards and ads were fictional.

What I'd like is "Blast from the Past" which would contain new HD renders/designs of classic GTA cars which didn't make it into GTAV, cars like Stallion, Bloodring Banger, Idaho etc

It'd be awesome to see something like an old Ford model A, and you could modify it in different way, like chromed up Cali cruiser, or dropped and chopped hot rod style!!!

Maybe couple that comes with a mission where you have to steal them, but after the mission can be purchased.

 

Also on a side note regarding DLC cars. I think R* made a wrong decision when they released them for 0 GTA$. Just look at Elegy, it`s a great car that looks good and drives good, yet I don`t want to use it because it`s free. I can tune it up to look even more awesome, but what`s the point if it`s free...

I don't think GTA Online takes place in the 1920s, 1930s, or the 1950s, either. Which means the rest of the classic cars can't exist anymore ever at all.

Also, I believe LA Noire used "real cars"? (Not sure) If so, it's even more unlikely.

Olawd this is the only decent suggestion among the 60 ft piles of sh*t around it. Yes to this idea, no to the gay leather bondage bikers that some people are suggesting. Sorry for the late reply. Few things.

One person mentioned the weight being an issue. Well, as others have said, R* apparently didn't develop LA Noire. My idea would be to go with the current handling. Make them slow if you want to. Again, I don't think a person who would be interested in this car would be overly interested in the speed aspect. I like to customize my cars, if I wanted speed, I'll go take my Akuma or Entity out. I just want a car I can enjoy.

Another issue was the name "Blast To The Past" seems cool. As for the name of the cars, I don't see why they couldn't do what they're doing now, and change the names of the cars around. Make it less obvious, etc.

I don't feel like this is an impossible DLC add-on. I do see the argument on how people would rather some other things come first, and I agree, but I know R* plans on developing GTA:O for awhile. I could see somewhere down the line they'd love to come out with a classic cars pack.

Is LA Noire any good?

 

I loved it. Feels like a movie. The motion capture is awesome, it's long but not drawn-out, graphics are good, good dialogue, famous-ish actors make cameos, brilliant twist, good ending. It's not too heavy on gunplay, it's more about exploring and thinking. Sometimes you'll be interviewing someone and the pieces dont fit, so you go back to the crime scene and spot something you missed first time round, and the pieces fall into place, or you can just chance it in the interview by guessing, you actually feel like a detective. When you catch someone out, feels good. It plays at a different pace than GTA, but it still feels very Rockstar, the attention to detail and everything. The map is like a carbon copy of LA, the shopfronts and all that sh*t. The crime scenes are awesome aswell, your first murder case is quite shocking when you first arrive on scene, you'll be able to pick it up super cheap now aswell. DLC is also good.

Plus, people play differently. Some play as if they're stuck in GTA:SA with the tattoos, the gangsta cars and whatever the hell was cool if it was the 80s again.

 

Maybe Rockstar could release something like:

 

- Gangs pack

- Bikers pack

- High class pack (suits, LA Noire stuff, high-end luxury cars, etc)

- Racers pack (racing outfits, racing cars, etc)

i would love a bikers pack, My character is a biker, my crew is biker, we only need the right clothes and choppers... (only 2 right now).

 

I also would love some hideouts 50+ enemies, horses, more weapons and the FREAKIN' option to NOT shoot your crew members...

And yeah, I understand it wasn't set in the 1940's. I guess that means anyone with a classic car should hide their car now, because we're in 2014.

40's clothes and weaponry would be totally out of the question. 40's cars would be ok in moderation , like they have it now, but it would kind of unbalance the game world to see everyone driving around in classic cars from the 1940s.

 

Not really. I hardly ever see any of the current sport classics being driven by other players. Adding a few vehicles from la noire wouldn't unbalance sh*t. The majority is still gonna drive their super cars all the time.

I live driving my Tornados around, but I wish it performed more like the Z type.

That could possible work. It'd be weird running around with a Tommy Gun in 2014 though...

 

What I think they should add:

 

Military pack.

-New advanced weapons, official military uniforms, the Hunter and possibly a Hydra.

 

And a skater pack! We're in California, the birthplace of skateboarding...

-Vans, Nike SB's, bunch of skater clothes. I just want some brown skinnies and some Vans damnit. I can't even have him dress like I do IRL, which is kind of annoying.

-Skateboards, and Longboards! We have mountains to shred and carve, so it'd be nice to take advantage of those hills with a longboard. <3

I am seriously with these Ideas. The gang pack would be one of my favorites but I reallly like the idea of the skater pack for some reason. Hell they even have a mini skate/BMX park so it would fit right in. One thing I would add to the cop DLC and I am sure someone has said it on here, but I would love to see maybe a cop themed playlist kind of like the pc players have with GTA IV. I watched those videos countless times and I thought they were seriously fun just getting random calls to handle crime or giving out tickets. I don't know that is just me I think it would be something new and different for people to do online besides troll each other.

I really am happy about this DLC though. I know, it's technically not completely what I suggested but it's up there. Like, it was a holy sh*t moment for me when I read what it was about.

Firstly, the actual V-Day Massacre was one of my favorite events to study in high school. Tragic, yet an interesting event in the mobster time. Wonder if anyone will actually reenact the events on the game.

Awesome game but its primary source of difficulty comes from staring down liars and using facial cues to find them out; so you will need a lot of evidence later to crack your case's since you can't so much as spot a lip wiggle from the most criminal of criminals. If you are not patient or attentive, you're methods of justice will hinge on how often one blinks when asked the question "Are you are a Murderer?"
