No, because I do not support the business practice of selling micro-transactions on an alpha build of an online game. I also do not support selling them when the title is released on systems which are a breeze to hack, when R* evidently does not have a round the clock security team.

 

In other words, I don't appreciate rushed, unfinished products.

i don't think so. i think you always spend newly acquired money first so R* would have simply said "you spent the cashcard money before you spent the gifted money so we aren't letting you keep any of it, but feel free to go buy another cash card"

 

buying a cash card in this game is like playing "press your luck" and hoping R* doesn't throw you a whammy and take all your cash.

i got 1 for a early Christmas present so i wouldn't be broke after buying my buzzard and bought the cheap one with the Xbox myrewards thing then was gifted 107 million dollars....

i bought the game, i played sp to 100% completion before the release of online. once online came out i bought a 20 $ psn card to buy the 1.25 mil shark card. but they werent avail. i lost 3 characters in the early days. game was too buggy to spend more money on it .held on to the psn card (forgot i had it). i did the bike glitch made 6 mil, and realized how stupid it would have been for me to spend that $ on a cash card. so i bought minecraft

No but 2 days before the whole "here's a billion" DNS modders I heard a little kid talk about how he stole his moms credit card bought 3 20$ cash cards.

hell no i wasnt working for a couple months b4 gta5 came out. i just took advantage of it. and fyi i had 100% with 68 hrs gameplay.

 

edit: and while you say i had no life , put it this way. i woke up everyday without any alarm , smoked a fat blunt with my morning coffee, took my dog for an avg 10 k bike ride. go fishing for a couple hours. then come home roll another fatty and chill and play video games. then take my dog for a walk in the evening. so was it no life? or was i living the life? no school, no working for the man, not collecting ei or welfare, just living my life the way i wanted to.

I don't have that kind of disposable income. I don't play Online enough to justify spending the money on cash cards, either.

 

Bills, rent, transport, then food if I'm lucky. Anything else ... usually has to wait.
