Why Can't I Own....!?

Ok, so I think we have all heard about R* removing vehicles from our online garages... And so far I can only agree with things like choppers, tanks, etc.... But what sparked me to make this thread was a new discovery that makes NO SENSE and it's not a popular vehicle which is why I don't think anyone has said anything about it yet (#3 below) but here is a list of vehicles that simply don't make sense to remove from garages.... PLEASE ADD IF I MISSED ANYTHING

 

1) Rat Loader- But R* has officially announced it will be returned and for a limited time, its modifications will be free for the inconvenience... Hey, that's a step in the right direction

 

2) Karin Rebel pick-up truck (Clean version)

 

3) Canis Seminole (You can mod it but can't store or insure it).... looks like Jeep Grand Cherokee

 

4) Tow Trucks- does R* not realize that these are one of the very few vehicles in the game that interacts with other vehicles and is therefore extremely useful to have the ability to get... Even if we don't have it in our garages, why can't we order them from Pegasus at least!?

 

5) Alllll emergency vehicles- from what I understand GTA IV was/is ground-breaking for the high number of role players in its community, almost all of which involve utilizing emergency services... that said why on earth would R* think it a good idea to (a) not allow us to legitimately own emergency vehicles (as we could in single player) but (b) not put all of the emergency vehicles in GTA Online. They have arguably the greatest and most vast selection of emergency vehicles in any game ever made, but they're reserved for NPC ownership only! I love this game and highly anticipate future DLC/patches- let's just hope that these simple and pointless issues are resolved sooner rather than later..

Also the small old toe truck freezes people's systems when you tow a car. Thats why they removed them.

They were removed since the vehicles you mentioned would freeze and/or timeout other players in the lobby. They're not coded to be in mp for some odd reason but I saw on the R* support website saying that they'll bring them back. Let's hope it's soon and not 'in a few weeks or so'

I do have the rusty tornado in my garage. I'm not sure if it's not supposed to go in the garage (due to the message saying "This vehicle cannot be stored in your garage"). I insured it at Los Santos Customs, and after I got another car, the rusty tornado was in my garage.

Yeah R* was trying to remove it for no reason at all. Now I cant even put insurance on them anymore.

I read somewhere that keeping the Clean Rebel was against game policy/breaking the rules or some confusing bullsh*t reason Rockstar made. Silly.

hahah I find it interesting that you keep bumping the thread (so thanks!). But I'm not sureeee if you're aware or not (But I'll just assume you aren't)- the forums are a place to post topics to learn more about, troubleshoot, shoot the sh*t, etc.... If we're playing the game and I legitimately wanted to know the list of cars that R* has disabled then I'm pretty sure it's ok to ask the community. The one that really looks stupid is a guy who took the time to create a login for this forum, only to (a) call GTA a computer game (I'm sorry but I chuckled at that) and (b) insult us for "crying" about the game and essentially not having lives, yettt he spends his time trolling threads he doesn't care about...... Well played sir well played hahahahahahahah

From what i've heard people were able to glitch the clean rebel to have both bullbars on at the same time and some had glitched the rat loader to have no box at all so to me it seems like R* needed some time to clear that up but to not give that as a reason is really annoying or i'm just propagating rumors.

The tow truck was causing people in the same lobby to freeze so we'll have to see if they can fix that.

The seminole is the one that bugs me... Can't find anything about why it wouldn't be allowed.

Something about it being a "mission only" vehicle.

Guess I've missed it even though I've completed the Story and all strangers and freaks. I haven't even seen the clean Rebel in SP yet.

I don't buy that bullsh*t about the clean rebel being a mission vehicle. The first one i owned i stole from an npc driving it in sandy shores. I even got a 7k bounty after carjacking them out of it. I found a later one with the roof lights i wanted parked on the beach.

All of these are very true like the tow truck, if it freezes.... f*ckING FIX It! and i had a Vapid Speedo in my garage, i found it on the street (very rare i might add) and i pulled up to my garage and said it couldnt be stored, but i could put insurance on it in the mod shop, which i did, i came back after not playing for a couple days and THEY TOOK IT OUT!?!?!?! Why do they insist on doing this sh*t, its just a van why not be able to customize it or keep it like the bravado race van? it fits in the garage its not like its a jet where its massively oversized or anything, along with my sheriff car which i did glitch in, but the only reason people glitch and hack, is because R* is to incompetent to let everyone enjoy the vehicles they put in the game, no one wants to go out and hunt down an emercency vehicle, and then have it blown up by someone else then having to start all over again. tisk tisk R*

Rusty Tornado is store-able.
