Is this The Guy?

Noticed lately that collecting ammo in survival is different. Did they change that too?

My gun has to be practically empty before I can start reloading on icons and dropped weapons.

I quit playing survival. Last time I played it I was with 3 low level randoms. They all died instantly on the last wave. I survived through the whole sh*t and then it freezes on the last enemy. So pissed

perhaps they died on purpose to just collect the money and RP at the end? i've had 2 separate Deathmatches where there would be the one guy who would either not move at all and/or get killed. figuered out that there are people who join Deathmatches, but don't want to participate. they just want the easy money and RP. this annoys others because it spawns more enemies to kill for the rest of the team that is making the effort.

I have less problems with spawns in Survival than I have with some of the utter d*ckheads you get in there. Everyone running around like maniacs is what causes the random spawns.

Survival is not about badassery (unless you consider 4 guys fighting off 300 guys to be badass, which I do) - it's about getting through as efficiently as possible. Sticking to set defensive positions will control the spawns and feed them into your killzones.

Who the hell cares if a Survival takes an extra 4 or 5 minutes to complete with camping? You're guaranteed to finish and get your $20K - and let's not forget why we're grinding friggin Boneyard in the first place - it isn't so we can go out in a blaze of glory on round 7 or so we can let some poor sap do 80% of every round solo - it's for the cash.

So, for the love of god, camp - control the spawns, cross your fields of fire and work together - nothing gets thru those 10 waves faster than a coherent team working like one.

Also, if you're below Rank 15, STAY THE HELL OUT OF SURVIVALS. You're locked out for a goddamned reason and you're taking up the slot of someone useful.

I agree with all but the last part ( mostly). A good time that works together setting up positions that will deal with waves easier but also have each others back if things get heavy is key to very quickly and easily completing. Processed for example with 3 people can be done almost blindfolded by all being in the centre shed. One guy at the front left behind the sandbags. one guy front right behind the crate next to the wooden office type hut and one at the back centre inside the skip thats beside the big pipes. The guys at front are controlling the waves while the guy in back is the backup player who deals with any enemies climbing the walls and also helping his buddies if they are overrun slightly. If doing solo then in the same middle shed use the skip back left and solo that sh*t with ease.

Now regarding the >15's.... I agree with the most part however i've always found that most lower levels learn quickly and will watch you in spectator mode then will use your strategys and help more with less deaths in the later stages. they also listen to advice if you are friendly and give them tips The problem for me is the higher levels that think they are awesome when they arent and even dieing in each wave will continue to do the very same thing all the way through expecting you to complete it anyway when they die. They wont listen to any tips or follow strategy because they apparently know better.

Survival is broken anyways, I mean what's the f*cking point if the only way to survive is by hiding in a dumpster and blind firing an automatic shotgun the entire game. They gave the cops way too good of aim, they don't miss which is just f*cking stupid. I'd love to run around and shoot guys but you can maybe get to wave 2 by that method before you get one shotted a mile away by a cop with a f*cking pistol.

On that subject all enemy NPC's have way too good of aim that just borders on aim bot.

Boneyard is easy, two guys in the barn and two behind the trailer. Guys in the barn are armed with shotties while the trailer guys use mgs to trim the herd.

I don't like Survivals and hardly never plays it, except when crew friends invite me.

You spend a lot of ammo and half of the money earned you probably will use to replace the ammo you spend on that mission.

And because some bugs too. I was playing Survival and only me and my another crew friend were fighting on the last wave, this NPC spawned below under the pier and i left the main scenario to kill him, but failed. The another guy did the same and failed.

She played with herself for ten "waves" ? Has she considered a career in the adult entertainment industry?

And, no not boneyard that's easy this was Sandy survival, the hardest IMO.

It's called survival for a reason. You survive and the only way to do that is find a good spot where you can take minimal damage and let the enemies come to you.

Totally disagree on this "blue container spot" nonsense. The railcar in the back is what I go with all the time, and not only does this spot get the job done every time, but others who die during these sessions tend to migrate to it.

So, yes, in essence I am 'eating the red berries' for my survival companions.

Survivals are quite easy once you get to level 120, and you have the minigun to deal with the choppers.

It's a good way to get some in game $. But you definitely need to play with friends than randoms. :^:

Fair enough - I suppose we should always make room for those prepared to learn - although it's been my experience that lowbies in Survival tend to screw around more often than they don't.

My real issue is that pre-rank 15 most players don't have the weapons, ammo capacity or health to legitimately tackle 10 waves. They'll be obliged to procure weapons and ammo in the field, including the spawned weapons. My problem there is ammo capacity - when a Rank 25 grabs the Heavy Sniper in round 6, they're going to be able to ship that weapon for the rest of the match because they've got hundreds if not thousands of rounds for it. The rank 9 will be gobbling up every spawned weapon and emptying them as soon as they use them - requiring them to run out and re-arm every single round.

My point is, you go in below rank 15, and your teammates have to carry you and you're a serious liability - it's that simple. If you have 3 crewmates who are willing to do that, cool - but don't inflict yourself on 3 random dudes because you got left in a Mission Select screen that included a Survival.

I join survivals with randoms all the time. If I get the dumbasses and they wont listen to me trying to help them out I will wait till they all die then give the finger and kill myself. And if your into grinding them on PS3 pm me. I run them all the time.

the best one is boneyard (or scrapyard. really can't remember the name)

see that huge crate in the corner? hide in it. although its a good spot, playing solo is like wanting to suicide. you need at least one more.

reason why I pick that one up is because I'm protected from all the directions; a wall behind me, a small crate to the right, hard angle for enemies to the left. choppers won't shoot me. I always stay away from the hanger since they can kill me with ease here. but in the said spot, you may reach wave 5/6 without any trouble.

anyways playing with crewmates/friends is better than playing solo/with randoms. :^:

Is this The Guy?

If you know the perfect camping area playing solo in all survival maps can be much easier, well to me at least. I usually play survival solo, only one that still gives me trouble sometimes is the sawmill, the rest are fairly easy. I either play solo or at most with another person. Only because the survival spawning is so garbage that any idea of setting up vantage points with a full team is useless because if you scatter a 4 man team around, the enemies spawn points get so random you could get one shot killed by some dude that spawns right behind you, gets annoying.

I play low level characters sometimes for the lols. That CE Deagle and Shotgun is quite helpful in survivals for low levels.

I find Sandy easy - find the patio stpot with the dumpsters and use an Assault Shotgun. A quick double tap takes out most NPCs and is much quicker than unloading with the MGs or Assault Rifles. Industrial.... I've never gotten past wave 9 for that one.

Edit. Also using the shotgun allows you to shoot around / over with scatter decreasing your visibility and exposure.
