GTA Online can't be enjoyed, unless...

Right guys, don't get it twisted ok, I LOVE GTA V, especially Online. I'm literally on it all day, everyday.

 

Now I don't know if i'm being too picky and expecting too much, but i don't feel myself and certain others don't get the full, I don't know how to put it....erm, yes... we don't get the full experience that R* intended and here's why...

 

Everyone has a certain way of playing... I've seen people lucky enough to pose in group photos with about ten in their whole crew, I've heard of Biker gangs that roll around on their choppers together doing, well, biker sh*t! GTA:O possibilities are endless.

 

I do have fun on my lone wolf adventures, but I do feel kinda at loss once the ps3 is switched off... This is because I'm very aware of much MORE fun I could have had. Recently, my luck kind of changed when I joined the Raymond Ave Crips. However, most the members are just as unimaginative as most the players I come across online smh.

 

It literally frustrates the f*ck out of me, that people are content acting like this is open world COD or a tank-a-thon. Like wtf, sure I've done my fair share of pointless Free Modes killing off the other players, but the fun doesnt last long. And you must be f*cking stupid or just a kid if that sh*t entertains you every single time you log on, no offense, I'm sorry!

 

I think GTA:O is best played with your RL friends who are like-minded players or at least have some degree of imagination and free thinking. My only RL "friend" on PSN is a total douche and sociopath, who gets jell when I play with others lmao. Right now, I'm getting the "silent treatment" cos i left the crew I started, which only had 6 members, all inactive except for me and him. Anyway...

 

Heres one more qualm: dickheads with headsets!

 

Luckily, my best friend is buying a ps3 and GTA V next week and everytime he plays on mine, I get like 2 to 4 adds! He is quite funny and charismatic. Hopefully then I will get the full experience R* intended for me and others. And hopefully, me and my bro meet some cool people from the forums to join us in having FUN!

I'm the only one in my group who plays video games, so that doesn't work unfortunately. I like the friends i've made though so whatever floats your boat, meet people who have something in common.

 

That said, there's a lot more that can/probably will be done but as of right now it is starting to become stale for me. I can only do FR kills for an hour before i want to do missions, some others can do it all day, everyday but what's miserable for you is enjoyable for them.

OP just make friends with randoms online(10% chance of this happening) it's so easy as long as you're nice. I've never been in a crew and always have fun playing online since day 1(except when I occasionally get put in lobbies with c*ntbags using tanks).

i agree. played most of gta4 with friends and it was amazing but now i have ps3 and dont know anyone online. free roam is usually pointless killing and missions are silent. just wish people would be up for doing more fun stuff. a friendly fire option would help so i could free roam with other like minded players who just want to explore and try stuff out...

Freeroam is pretty much whatever the players want to do. Just gonna have to do deal with it, I'm afraid.

 

There's still missions and jobs by the way if you get bored/tired of FR gameplay.

 

What really pisses me off the the cluttered job queue for DM and races that's packed with crappy or trollish content.

 

Just did 30minutes of "Prison Thugz Fight", it was f*cking atrocious. Then I did a race, and surprise surprise it was "Jumps Jumps Jumps", and thanks to the catchup leead nerf on I f*cked up the last jump and got stuck on the bridge.

 

If Rockstar could do just one thing before the heists, it would be to allow players to queue ONLY for Rockstar jobs. Then people can carry making sh*tty maps to their hearts content and I'll be happy ignoring them

I was in a 2v1 match and it still sucked even though we were winning. Having a full group makes it even sh*tter but if you enjoy it..so be it.

I agree with you OP, I had lots of fun on GTA IV with my RL friends, but that was around 2008 to 2011.

 

Unfortunately now my RL friends don't really care much for videogames, and I am often just playing with random crew members & some PSN friends.
